This model was airbrushed with Model Master enamel over doped tissue. I've also airbrushed over tissue using Tamiya acrylics. I had better results thinning the Tamiya paint with lacquer thinner than denatured alcohol.
@@josejulian749 I've used both domestic and Esaki - the paint doesn't seem to care as long as the tissue has been sealed (with dope or whatever you prefer) first.
@@michaelkelly7338 many thanks, if you can recommend a tutorial or blog to build a good model, i appreciated it. thank you so much for your help. great man.
Beautiful airplane! But why, and I’m venting about thousands of this type of video, don’t you model airplane videographers seem to notice that the fish eye lenses of your go-pro type cameras makes it impossible to enjoy the flight?? One can’t see anything but sky. Oh well. You’re a talented craftsman anyway. Nice work.
Sorry - limitation of the camera. I live with it because I like a hands-free video solution - lets me watch the model and enjoy the flight while capturing video for later review and analysis.
That's pretty impressive. It's so hot here in Arizona I had to find a gym and fly indoors. I almost passed out when I tried to fly my Typhoon outside.
This model was the first Guillows model I made. I was about 14 at the time. Great memories!
Great stuff! Just like golf, though - ya gotta go get it!😆
That is some real flying. The climb is amazing. I loved my old Guillow's Typhoon but it never flew quite like that!...Dan
DANG THATS A GOOD FLYIER!
That's an awesome build, well done, that is one of my absolute favorite WW2 fighters.
This is very inspiring. Please make some tutorials for amateurs like us. Thanks
