I finally got see Armin again at this year's EDC and i was in tears his whole set. Truly a dream come true to see one my top DJ's who've I listen too for decades now on one of the biggest stages ever! TY AND LOVE YOU SO MUCH ARMIN !!!
@@inosurrender8327 good choice haha. I've never traveled outta my city for a festival before but got to see Armin live once here. I honestly don't remember anything about the set other than that it was Armin van Rainen in A State of Rain (it was raining) but yeah you don't miss the King's set!! One thing I thought was a little lame but understood back in my early-20s (but now that I'm 10 years older and have a kid, I actually like even more) when I went. And it actually makes it more enjoyable, is that all sets and music ends at 11PM here because our EDM festival is held within city limits and those are the Bylaws (it's our capital in Canada, Ottawa- often teased as a boring "city that fun forgot"), but that makes it not so bad when you're tired after a long day! So much better than the 11PM-2:30/3AM for the one monthly Trance show in my city. Free parking and lots available at that hour, and only a 15 mins drive from me into downtown, but the hours are brutal when you've got a little one who requires you waking up early.

I agree but this set I actually liked a lot. He threw in remixes at least that were ones he did which I liked. I think this is just his style when he does his shows for whatever reason

I'ma steal this and try to work it into some of my sets this party/wedding season. I'm not a club DJ or an EDM DJ, just hobby side-gig weddings and parties so don't get to really play EDM (Mostly only Top 40 :( ) but I think I can make this one work!! I find EDM mixed/mashed/remixes of Top 40 usually work with most crowds if it's a good one.
Armin Van Buuren is a monster in trance and considered the king of trance, but in my opinion his sets especially in ASOT were magical, I'll give an ASOT 550,450 among others
