Oooh I am so tempted to join the Stormlight rereadalongs already, but I want to wait until a bit later to do a proper binge hahaha. We'll see how long I can resist the fomo lol 🤣 Very excited for you to get to those SPFBO books. I personally adored Hills of Heather and Bone, and it is somehow a perfect blend of dark and cozy! Also just started Fall, which has been delightfully weird and propulsively readable so far. And Ranger is our semifinalist, so I hope you get on well with it! 🤩 Happy reading, Grace. Hope you have a wonderful Feb!! 🥰🥰
Hahah I support your plans to binge the series straight through! I think that would be so fun, but at the same time I want to pace myself 😂 the SPFBO books have been quality so far, which I couldn't be happier about!
I am unfortunately reading the 1831 text because that's the edition that my second hand copy is in! It does include a nice introduction and some critical essays though which I think will be pretty cool
Ooh some fantastic books ! Im really looking forward to rereading Stormlight later this year, ever since picking it up I just haven't stopped thinking about it. I can't wait to get to the Age of Madness trilogy, just need to binge Red Country and The Heroes first (although having enjoyed(....mostly) Best Served Cold I can't wait to read more)
I honestly think you will have no trouble binging The Heroes and Red Country if you want to, they move along better than Best Served Cold imo!! They're both awesome
I still need to continue in Stormlight Archive. I have stopped after words of radiance because I had read way of kings and words of radiance so quickly after one another, but now that book 5 is coming out this year, I should probably continue.
Exciting selection of books - I need to get on and read more Joe abercrombie. I've read the blade itself etc. but have yet to pick up a little hatred and everyone keeps saying its epic
Soooo excited for your thoughts on Frankenstein!!
Frankenstein do be Frankensteining

I demand all the Frankenstein thoughts as you read! (Also, I hope you will be reading the 1818 edition, because it's the correct edition of the text.)

Age of Madness and Frankenstein are fantastic. My February is already off to a great start as I've just finished Liveship Traders. I loved it!
I’m really enjoying Frankenstein, the writing is beautiful!

Yes it's absolutely the perfect time to read them 😊

It was a phenomenal start to the final trilogy! It really made me realize that I’ll read anything Abercrombie comes out with
