  • Hi again, I believe you guys have known about the basics of Mahjong from our last video, we will teach you how to create melds in this video.
    The way to win Mahjong is to create melds, which are Chows, Pongs, and Kongs.

    Great video! Most content is on Japanese rules, so I didn't know what the Chinese combinations were besides the standard sets of 3 and a pair.

    For PONG, why do you have to turn one tile facing opposite, depending on which side discard it? What is the purpose of doing this??

      You don’t have to turn the tile. It’s a preference. It’s just for you to keep track which side gave you the pong. If u place the flipped over tile on the left, then it’s person to your left that gave you the pong. Middle is in front. Right is ur right opponent.
