Yup. I’ll be honest. I’m new to pop the balloon and I really didn’t know how many views this channel received until about last week. Arlette just isn’t your typical influencer so I underestimated her. But the more I watch the show the more respect and admiration I develop for her in this role. As someone who doesn’t fit the mold either, I’m very inspired.

I like the senior's show. So inspiring seeing how people who have aged have matured. They are so comfortable in their own skins and polite to each other. They know exactly what they want and ask more substance questions. It's a different vibe. I like this show too. But, sometimes there is a serious mismatch and questionable characters. Especially concerning professions. I do believe some of the men lie a lot and just want to hit. They say what they need to say to get positioned. Also, there were a few with criminal records.

It's good for couples to split the bills, but if one suffers a lay-off or a cut in pay for a period of training for an increase, the slack would probably fall on the other spouse!! That's what the Haitian young man was alluding to! God-forbid if someone falls ill 🤒, the other spouse will have to help take up the slack!!

Coming back to Junior, I know how much of a struggle it can be to live in a secular world while staying so close to your faith, especially when Christ is your identity. It feels almost impossible to find the right match.
There’s not much we can do except wait on the Lord and trust in His process. If you’re filled with the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit will speak to you. Sometimes, we just need a little more time to understand. On this show, we’re really talking about minutes to make sense of another person, which is not easy.

I was hoping for a comment that had my same thought, thank you! I didn’t like what he did with the 2nd girl. No one’s walk with God/ Jesus is perfect and she showed she was actively seeking God after she fell off. He is weird for that, because his personality is not the best. I know how it is to be that over religious person and think you have the most solid relationship with God, but the more you come to Christ you are more gentle in your response and to people in general. He could have brought her close to him. I understand what he said about the 1st girl and him standing on morals because a lot of women in the music industry are willing to do anything to be relevant but he is weird to me tbh.

So as a straight Man, you have to exude protection, comfort and dominance when meeting them the first time. He was very unsure with his answers, his deliverence was soft, and his presence weren't dominant; thus not giving the girls a semblance of covering. The impression it gives is that he's not a self confident Man. Another guy around his height bagged himself a girl cos he was more upright in stance, his tone was stronger, and he seemed assured with his answers.
