Yay! I am excited to share a new home tour video with you! I finally had the chance to film the gorgeous cozy cottage of my Australian friends here in the natural park Le Morvan. They've decorated it with all their beautiful finds at vide greniers and brocantes. If you love that style as much as they and I do, you are going to love this video!

ça transpire la joie et la sérénité ...heureusement, ils y a des gens ( même venus de l'étranger et loin !!) qui se donnent de la peine pour conserver ce patrimoine et prolonger ce mode de vie qui nous manque tant aujourd'hui ...je crois que ces expats sont encore plus respectueux que les français eux -même ....

We arrived in Provence on the 1st day of lock down for a 6 month stay..... we are now residents! :) The twists and turns of life. Beautiful cottage, Kate has a great sense of style. I loved the art works, the tomettes, the garden pots. What a lovely couple, very courageous to take on the barn renovation. Our story mirrors theirs in that we bought a petite Maison in Pays de la Loire during lockdown , from New Zealand, then waited a year to be able to get there. Happily it also proved to be just what we wanted. Bon courage

Absolutely beautiful would love to visit. The horses are beautiful Also , please let your friends know that there are natural things you can rub horses down with to keep the flies away, especially since they can definitely cause health problems. You can tell that they love their horses. Thank you again for putting out such great Content ❤

Beautiful cottage, very peaceful and cozy. I love the brick and plaster work most of all and the big square window in the bedroom. The horses and barn renovation project are the icing on the cake.

I love the floors in the French cottages. The tiles are beautiful and they speak of so much history. Who once walked on them? I love the white walls and the eclectic collections.

French Stoves are wonderful. I designed my kitchen around my LaCornue. What a nice piece of furniture and a great stove. I love to cook for others.
The entire cottage is beautiful. But i love the little table by the door with the tall candle stick. The clip of it just had such a feel of old art. Just beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

The ponies are adorable, how sweet picking grass out of his friends mane. I love the quirky collections paired with soft plaster walls and grey tones. The oven is wonderful, I wish I had my own chef at home. I would find it hard to leave this place. They made a good, timely decision.
I enjoyed everything about this tour and visit with this lovely couple! Their cottage is like a warm hug, and I’m afraid I would want to visit for the whole summer, especially with an established chef in the house. What a lovely cottage, I love the neutral tones yet here and there little pops of earthy colors like the candlesticks for example . The La Cornue oven. My favorite was the bunny lamp looking out the window. Also I love the creamy white flower pots in the garden. The horses too! Thank you for taking us along .
It’s actually a Lacanche! I need to say that because they are made 4km from my home so they are the pride of our region! 😇

Impressive, especially after seeing the before video just since last year. Lots of long work days and nights (and help?). Looks like they have been there for years. The stone/tile masonry work in France, Italy of other parts of Europe gives the buildings a real timeless look...like it. The barn!!
Yes it’s very impressive! I admire their energy and how much they get done each time they’re here! Professionals are doing the works on the barn now but everything else they’ve done themselves and with the help of friends.

Marloues- I am new to your channel. When I worked in England I gravitated toward French cuisine. I am reading BRUNO CHIEF OF POLICE BY MARTIN WALKER for the second time. I am so happy to be in the South of France in his books. We are New England farmers and live a country rustic lifestyle of 1930s Americana. That said I plan to adopt some of the French country kitchen concept. I ordered Bruno's cookbook from the series that is coming out in English in November. Another favorite novel is HOTEL PASTIS.
