Nice work James! Nice drone shots too 🎉
I live in the midlands but for the past two years every November we’ve stayed 3 nights in Eastbourne just for the charity shops down that way. So many towns nearby to look around. It’s by far my favourite sourcing destination.
You beat us to it! We were going to go here. We do a series called Flip or Flop about charity shops in different places. Its a fair while from us to be honest. You should come to Norwich, we can show you all the good spots for charity shops lol. Great video
Get there and take a look! I wish I had more time would have spent more time in each shop
We stayed at Eastbourne for the week so was able to take our time . Really liked it . Only buy for myself . Like you I get really tired looking around them but can’t resist them . I live in Exeter in Devon . Going to a seaside town this sat called Paignton. Enjoyed your video ,think you got some bargains . I am female❤
Thanks for watching! I will go back for sure
Brilliant buys enjoyed the video
Thanks for watching!
Been to the Eastbourne charity shops a few times when gone to the Eastbourne Meetup and some are a fair old walk apart. I never really come away with that much but makes a good video
Nice! First time for me
There might be 35 charity shops in Eastbourne but they're not all in the town centre, quite a few are a long way out.
Yeah not all are in the main town
I went to uni in Eastbourne and I'm not sure I ever went in one charity shop. Went in all the pubs and clubs though. Well done on the pickups.
Nice! Make sure you send me your email for the voucher 😊
If you do a weekend trip in the summer there is a great bootfair on Sunday near Polegate. Well worth a visit if it’s a nice day and in the middle of bootfair season.
That's a good one...got lots there for over 30 years !!
Thanks great advice
Good grafting Jimbo 💪
Cheers mate. We keep growing
They aren't charity shops anymore. The pricing is ridiculous. They are meant to serve those on low income, help the local community, as well as raise money for the named charity. They have become corporate businesses, and the only ones that really benefit are the corporate bosses. Many of these charity shops now stock brand new items to sell, which is totally unfair to the small business who struggle to pay full rent, rates, all other utilities, pay employees and earn a decent wage for themselves. Charity shops receive reductions in their utilities, the workforce is mainly volunteers, and the vast majority of items sold were donated. To top it all many have been refurbished to look like top end boutiques. You can buy a new bread machine for £45. And a new clothes cheaper online. Charity shops have driven away their biggest source of income, the working classes, by being greedy
@@dragonflydance9204 doesn’t help that people are buying to just re-sell so the shop feels if they are making more money then they should too
i reckon theres loads more charity shops in brighton, theres 12 just on london road!
Brighton will be getting visited
I've been to Eastbourne a few times to go round the charity shops. There was one that was selling dvds at £1 per disc, and there was a box set of 37 discs. They were charging £37 for it 😯💀
Yeah I’ve seen the £1 per disc charity shops who do that lol
@@boldfinds 😆I know right? They didn't get a sale from me!
If you are an urbanite it might be less exhausting and more lucrative to pick 2/3 local destinations with a combined large number of charity shops. You could get to them more easily to check on their visit-worthiness too rather than waste a day by taking a long journey, only to end up disappointed.
Fat Face skirt could be vintage, that purple label is one of their early ones and they founded in 1988 James
Thanks for the info! Will check it out after photos
Well done jimbob, from jordbob

dont forget to set your alarm tonight for live tomorrow lol
I was up lol
The drone footage is sick!!
Come on!
Letting a charity have a shop for free or low rent is a good way to keep landlords' bills low and watch land value go up if you can't get a real business in.
When you said BHF and cheap in the same sentence 😬
I know lol
The monies that are aid to their top executives the first class travel they have and hotels would shocked us all. So they must be made now to pay the rates on their shops like all shop owners the rents and rates of greedy landlords and councils are what has decimated the high Street bought low class shops so nothing looks attractive or inviting anymore.
Ocfam has a sale on still going go ne ovr priced
Thats oxfam used to be cheap now there high
Sirmugman
Like the DFS sale always on
@boldfinds almost they do stop every soboften
