I disagree one's fighting style seems to be more direct than the other and they took aspects of his and made him into someone who cares for his team but wants to do the right thing. I’m beginning to sense a pattern with a lot of pre-Neo Saban Power Rangers seasons. Most of the villains from the Sentai counterparts are not even used in the PR seasons. Like Astronema, Trakeena, Mesogog, Lothor, Ransik, Master Org, Flurious, Lord Zedd and several others are all American made villains. Weird

Casey's swords are based on Chinese Dao broadswords. The same kind of swords you see in Chinese martial arts and wuxia movies... Which Gekiranger is heavily inspired by to a point that the mentor characters are homages to various Kung Fu actors with the shark mentor being named after Jackie Chan. You need to watch more movies man.
Both Psycho Red and Zato should be able to beat Jayden in a sword fight. Psycho Red outstats and skills Jayden, especially once he tags him, which should be easy enough with his super speed and berserk fighting style. Zaylto should be able to beat Jayden due him having fought and wielded a sword for longer than Jayden could ever live.
Psycho red would not beat Jayden 1 no he can’t just put his hand in his head and learn everything he did it do he can only do that for Andros because that how he was made to beat if not why didn’t he do that for Leo he literally had to sneak attack him when they met Jayden is always in timing so he’s not gonna let that happen and 2 psycho red has a good fighting style by Jaden can hold his own and ahead and buy it as well and even then in a sword fight PsychoRed is not seeing him Psycho Red got folded By Andros who’s one of the weaker red rangers psycho red couldn’t even beat Brody Or Troy Let alone Jayden psycho red gets way to much glaze I know he’s cold but he nor any of the other psycho rangers are that strong there not beating any Ranger from the Disney era not the Neo Saban era Zayto maybe but all he is is power with no skill his Battlizer won’t help because he can only use it one per fight the Dino fury keys are a bit of an issue but I think Jayden’s symbol power and his Fighting knowledge with help him out and even Morphin master Zayto is completely featless he did nothing
That’s like 2 examples. Mmpr was sci fi while zyuranger is magic and mythology. Gokaiger was pirates. When super megaforce is just heroes. Kakuranger was ninjas while alien rangers was aliens. Megarangers was computers while in space was space themed
time force and timeranger yes have similar plots but they both did something completely different with both their villains. Wild force also improved an issue gaoranger had by giving them a main villain. Samurai on the other hand literally was just a translation of shinkenger for season 1, season 2 was kind of different for a couple of episodes but still pretty much the same plot.
The whole vid is just depressing to watch, ngl. Like I get liking a character and having that character or set of characters be your fav, but to this level? This is just insanity honestly. I truly hope my man is just playing a character and he likes Jayden fine enough cause ain't no way you have the Samurai Sentai brush and haven't seen the show at all. I find it hard to believe a non-sentai watcher would buy sentai-related items (Not PR btw). So I have seen a few of his videos, and he genuinely thinks Samurai is great and Jayden is the best. To your second point, Takeru has more Ws crossovers than Jayden on his own. Xandred has to be weakened before he could do anything to him. To your third point, I don't want to be too harsh on season since their production was rushed. But if there was one part of Shinkenger they needed to adapt for PR, it's the Lord-retainer relationship dynamic. If they would've done that, it would explain so many aspects, like everyone praising Jayden and Jayden not wanting them to be around. And I agree with watching Sentai as we don't know when we'll get more PR content.
Towa a valid point for why Jayden is the king is because in super megafroce when the morphed into the samurai rangers Troy’s exact words were “this one for Jayden” he did not say that about any other team he only said that for samurai because Jayden is our glorious king

@@connorharnage6697 I have seen both timeranger and time force many times and timeranger is way better as it develops all its rangers, Time Force is not a bad season by any means but having tripp, lucas and katie get nothing to do was just sad since they were very well developed in timeranger. Wild Force and Gaoranger i think are both really solid tho one the great strengths i appreciated with wild force was having the rangers keep their names and not call each other by their color like gaoranger did and having master org be a villain since episode 1 and not just random final boss. They at least give you different experiences when watching the PR versions compared to their sentai counterparts while samurai just feels lazy.
Towa is wrong when says all seasons of pr are copies of sentai. Megaranger (in space) was about video games and had nothing to do with space, Gingaman (lost galaxy) was about nature and set on earth not space themed. Gokaiger (super megaforce) was about pirates. Already spoke about rpm/go onger. Pr takes inspiration from sentai and then creates a new story out of it. So no, they are not copies of the sentai. Must I name more examples for you Towa?

listen i get that shinkenger is better, and culturally, samurai is a bit dicey with the casting choice for jayden, but nothing about the story or characters is particularly subpar for a power rangers season imo. yeah, that’s because it IS just a shinkenger copy, but compared to other power rangers seasons it’s a-okay. haven’t watched it in a while so i can’t say it’s peak or way better than other seasons, but i know i was rewatching samurai and super samurai like crazy as a kid. edit: ight i gotta agree, the morphers were a downgrade for sure, calligraphy brush is better.
Samurai isnt bad if you dont know what sentai is and are new to PR but when you get into both PR and Sentai and see how unique power rangers can be when adapting the sentai, it makes Samurai feel lazy with just copying shinkenger rather than trying to be its own thing.

Naw fam, I can't agree with some points you made NGL. Mind you, I did watch Joe's video, then yours to completion. First things first Jayden a mid tier red in my opinion. He's not Troy, Nick, or Rocky levels of trash but he's not Carter, Wes, or Leo levels of good either. I'm not talking about fighting prowess alone I'm taking character, leadership, and feats. Jayden being "Good" isn't a character trait. He at his base is stoic, reserved, and serious see Jen and Taylor for similar characters that fit that mold but are still good in their respective series. Heck, Jen is my favorite pink Ranger to ever do it . Those are all perfectly fine traits for a person to have. But his leadership boils down to "Imma do this because I can, and y'all ain't stopping me." That's not good leadership in my book. Oh, he beat the big bad of the season yea so did the majority of the reds before him. Next, samurai's villains are trash tier. The main man himself sat on a boat for 99% of the season. Heck, at least in space, time force, and lost galaxys villains got active once in a while. "But what if he didn't have a headache?" you counter to which I say eff that! That was a part of his character if you can't pick and choose parts to ignore about a character when you are arguing facts about said character. Next, you say oh show me a character who trained till they got cuts till sun down Noah from megaforce would like to speak with you 😂. And just like Jayden, that only occurred once in the entire show. We sit here and pretend ninja storm and jungle fury ain't our here having whole training academies. Like samurai's the only season that had training lol man, please. Samurai essentially being a dub of Shinkenger is fine. My only major issue with Samurai is they speak like they’re stage actors and comes off very jarring. time force and timeranger yes have similar plots but they both did something completely different with both their villains. Wild force also improved an issue gaoranger had by giving them a main villain. Samurai on the other hand literally was just a translation of shinkenger for season 1, season 2 was kind of different for a couple of episodes but still pretty much the same plot.

So I have seen a few of his videos, and he genuinely thinks Samurai is great and Jayden is the best. To your second point, Takeru has more Ws crossovers than Jayden on his own. Xandred has to be weakened before he could do anything to him. To your third point, I don't want to be too harsh on season since their production was rushed. But if there was one part of Shinkenger they needed to adapt for PR, it's the Lord-retainer relationship dynamic. If they would've done that, it would explain so many aspects, like everyone praising Jayden and Jayden not wanting them to be around. And I agree with watching Sentai as we don't know when we'll get more PR content.

@@connorharnage6697 I have seen both timeranger and time force many times and timeranger is way better as it develops all its rangers, Time Force is not a bad season by any means but having tripp, lucas and katie get nothing to do was just sad since they were very well developed in timeranger. Wild Force and Gaoranger i think are both really solid tho one the great strengths i appreciated with wild force was having the rangers keep their names and not call each other by their color like gaoranger did and having master org be a villain since episode 1 and not just random final boss. They at least give you different experiences when watching the PR versions compared to their sentai counterparts while samurai just feels lazy.

listen i get that shinkenger is better, and culturally, samurai is a bit dicey with the casting choice for jayden, but nothing about the story or characters is particularly subpar for a power rangers season imo. yeah, that’s because it IS just a shinkenger copy, but compared to other power rangers seasons it’s a-okay.

Naw fam, I can't agree with some points you made NGL. Mind you, I did watch Joe's video, then yours to completion. First things first Jayden a mid tier red in my opinion. He's not Troy, Nick, or Rocky levels of trash but he's not Carter, Wes, or Leo levels of good either. I'm not talking about fighting prowess alone I'm taking character, leadership, and feats. Jayden being "Good" isn't a character trait. He at his base is stoic, reserved, and serious see Jen and Taylor for similar characters that fit that mold but are still good in their respective series. But his leadership boils down to "Imma do this because I can, and y'all ain't stopping me." That's not good leadership in my book. Oh, he beat the big bad of the season yea so did the majority of the reds before him. Next, samurai's villains are trash tier. The main man himself sat on a boat for 99% of the season. Heck, at least in space, time force, and lost galaxys villains got active once in a while. "But what if he didn't have a headache?" you counter to which I say eff that! That was a part of his character if you can't pick and choose parts to ignore about a character when you are arguing facts about said character. Next, you say oh show me a character who trained till they got cuts till sun down Noah from megaforce would like to speak with you 😂. And just like Jayden, that only occurred once in the entire show. We sit here and pretend ninja storm and jungle fury ain't our here having whole training academies. Like samurai's the only season that had training lol man, please.
