Well I’m 2017 they already mentioned that they didn’t have any contact with Hyunseung anymore. Hyunseung publicly apologized to his former members that he was stubborn which created a wall between him and the others. etc. As for Junhyung I really hope they are still friends although I doubt it. I think only Dujun would stay in contact tbh. He’s also the only one who didn’t delete any photo’s related to Junhyung. Do have to admit that I miss the guy.
For the late 3rd gen to early 4th gen, things really getting better. When I watch their reality show, they have better dorm arrangement and big dorm (house). It’s really different to the older kpop groups

Hello KBS. Thanks for creating this show and providing English subtitles! I am not a big fan of BEAST/Highlight, but I do know all the members by name. Hyunseung is my favourite member of the group. I recently started re-discovering BEAST/Highlight and Hyunseung and watching all the old programmes. There are old clips from their reality tv show just before they debut and it showed how they lived in this small apartment. It's very kind of the current tenant to allow the programme to shoot in the apartment. I'm sure they received some kind of token payment but they could always refuse the offer. This warmed my heart because as sad as it is that BEAST disbanded and had to use another name, they are all doing very well now financially (I'm sure). It's good to walk down memory lane and just reflect on how far we have come. Great programme!
Seeing this make me realise new groups don't go though this hard like them. I mean back then kpop is not huge like now. And now rookie groups already live in comfortable environment even from start of debut
You're wrong. That's a thing of the so-called Big 3, but most other rookies still experience humble lodgings. Even TXT, whom so many people maligned for coming from a supposedly "privileged" company, all slept in one room. It's hilarious that you're going "poor Kpop veterans" when this segment showed an apartment in freaking CHEONGDAMDONG of all places.

And I dont mean that in a bad way, but like too many to keep track of all of them. 😅 I'm not trying to discredit anyones beginnings because everyone has to start from somewhere, and everyone starts differently. And I dont know korean geography well still so I dont know how each area in korea ranks in class.

And with highlight's situation, they had 12 people in one small apartment.
