My childhood. We were happy kids following animated superheroes and memorizing tunes. Now we're stupid grownups who let unimportant people make us hate ourselves and lives.... Please, take me back...
it's crazy how something can be obscure to ones and just childhood to others. I think it has to do with how the US got to the anime craze pretty late, but most old school. anime lovers from french speaking countries knows this one. ... Well, I guess that would make it obscure by today's standards.
I think of watching it someday... to anyone watching, is it good? is it dark? is it heartwarming? when was it from? does the hero dies/loses in the end? are there lighter funny moments to balance the subject? and, most importantly (for me anyway), what's the name of the hero?
Yes, its good. Its a bit dark in some moments. Has a nice ending. Its from late 70s (manga) and the anime from 90s. If he dies, discover for yourself. Has funny moments. He is called Kurt.
Finally, i found a piece of my childhood
Me too 😣

Very obscure. Finished the manga right now, I enjoy it a lot, cool world building, beautiful art and an epic conclusion. Fun to read.

I forgot to ask about the hero's age (since the size of anime kids often confuse me)
