Do you have to be black to quote MLK? I quote a number of ministers who I do not completely agree with. Sometimes they get one thing right. As my old pastor would say. Eat the meat and leave the bones.
The point is if Spurgeon was a contemporary of Hyles or any other modern day IFB preacher they would napalm his name. They would say, “He’s not preaching the Gospel at the Metropolitan Tabernacle.” They would call him a compromiser, heretic, and a false prophet.

They are my brothers. I’ll see them in heaven. I encourage you to have an open heart to Scripture. Listen, converse, think, and pray.
