My local hardware has the Bucket Brigade brand of tool rolls and I love them. Same concept. I am a mechanic and when I go out to a job, I carry all my tools in rolls. I can lay it on the floor, unroll them and have instant access to everything. My coworker has everything loose in a metal tool box and spends most of his time sorting through the mess to find what he's looking for. And if something is missing you know it straight away. Makes my job so much easier.
That tool pouch is one of the nicest I have ever seen. That is def top notch gear

I love a good tool roll. I went from having a large tool box in my truck the kind that stretch all the way across the bed of the truck. And I went to a small box that sits in the fender well by the cab. And was able to do so by putting most of my tools in a roll.

My friend works for an arms importer in to the UK. And they supply Gerber to the UK market. A roll matt like that is exactly what they sent to him to carry around their knives.

I have a large SOG barrage bag for a 72hr bag. I was thinking of getting one or even a few of these and seeing if they would fit in my bag. By the looks of these rolls i could probably put atleast two in.
Hey and if in a pinch you need it, you can maybe roll some soft stuff up and make this into an impromptu pillow.

Thanks for the video! I have been looking for a good tool roll that didn't cost 90+ $$. Putting together a tool emergency kit for my truck. Now I can spend the money saved on the tools.
Overall, I think sturdy tool bags are an underrated/ overlooked option when it comes to prepping and surviving, for example Klein Tools "Tradesman Pro" 19.5-inch backpack, looks handy, suitable and multipurpose for work and survival.
This is a great product! I carry a messenger bag for work and I have been thinking about getting a second one for a summer get home bag. I'm going to consider getting one of these so if I have to take the two-shank express home I can dump out my work stuff , place this inside it, and take off. Quick, easy, and organized.

It looks very well made. I’ve seen similar items before.
I have used rolls for my wrenches and even made a few myself.
This has many features that I like.
But it doesn’t quite fit the bill for me in the prevention of FOD in aviation or plant use. I guess my needs are just too specific.
I have had a few days at work that required extra pants, so that is a great feature.
It is hard to find quality products sometimes. Perhaps they have something else that does suit my needs.
If they make one that discretely holds a couple glocks and several magazines, I’m in.👍

I love this roll but was surprised when I received it. The material was thinner than I expected. I guess my expectations were set when I got the Duluth trading roll but sadly they don’t make it any more.

You can just go to your local home hardware store and pickup a Bucket Boss tool roll. It’s the same thing!
It has slight differences as I have one but he’s also done a video with the bucket boss roll too

wow, posted here saturday with the concern on where the item is made. must have been a sensitive question as it appears my post was removed? for those interested if you go to roaring fire gear's web site and click on this item literally every question is "where is it made"...crickets. i generally don't have issues with off shore products unless they come from a handful of places........

A lot of people are asking if it’s made in the US. The answer is clearly no. It’s $33. It will be made abundantly clear on the website if a product like this is made in the US. Everyone wants to support US manufacturing but many don’t want to pay for it. SOE makes a tool roll that’s $60. Made right here in TN.

Great review. I checked out their website. The prices are very reasonable. As a HVAC tech I am always looking for something to make my job easier. Tool roll looks a little small, but it would do for screw drivers and smaller tools.

I was wondering where this was made. Amazon carries Roaring Fire gear, but apparently not the Armadillo Tool Roll Pouch. Anyway, someone asked this "wear is it made" question on the 30L EDC Backpack, and Roaring Fire's answer was: _"Good evening, this backpack made in China, thank you for your question, if you have any other questions, pls don’t hesitate let me know."_ . Sorry, but I just can't buy this... :-(
When you said it was 7" in height or diameter might be better the adjustment on the 2 straps that hold it closed looks like they were maxed out. You didn't flip it around so I could not see if that was the case.

Awesome tool roll, Sootch! I was searching for one on Amazon but the One Tigris is not in stock. Although larger, the Armadillo will make one really nice survival kit for my Jeep. I went to the website and ordered the tool roll and a 20L dry bag. Great prices! BTW I love your watch...what brand is it?
