  • We took our Isuzu D-Max to the Australian Ultimate Suspension for an upgrade. But first, we put it through its paces to have a comparison of what the vehicle did before and after. The results will probably shock you and we show the suspension on the standard model is not something you need to put up with.
We also improved the braking efficiency by upgrading the discs and pads to DBA. www.ianluff.com.au

Why for obstacle avoidance in original configuration makes two turns (right first and left then: the second quite bad) and in "improved" configuration makes only one turn and then goes straight?

quick question why are the camera angles so different on the before and after tests and measuring the results should be easy as all aftermarket suspension modifications have to be approved so the manufacturer should be able to give you the results of swerve tests ETC as per VSI14

What a joke of a review. If there was any improvement in accident avoidance they would have showed the upgraded suspension make 2 turns like the control test suspension did.

I'm sorry but it's seem the camera angles are hiding something. You really need to compare apples with apples

In Namibia where I live, hilux has the stiffest suspension and they roll very easily on gravel, not sure fitting stiffer suspension is the best option

Great video! Could you measure the droop of the front suspension with the after market struts?

Thank you! we don't have the ability to measure that right now, but if you contact Ken he would most likely know off the top of his head. The guy is really good.

What a rubbish. Why didnt u compare it side by side under same condition? Test the original under wet condition and your's in dry condition? Seriously?

BS video. Titled this video as suspension upgrade. Why change the brakes and pad? Obstacle avoidance ... before is two turns and after is one turn. Final conclusion is that Ultimate Suspension is selling rubbish. Am I correct to say this?

someone got free suspension , hence the different wet track angles and incomplete footage

The whole video looses credibility if you change camera angles. Not a true or reliable proof, its all arguable.
