Prayers for both you and Jami. It definitely is a challenging time for 2 ladies that need to be busy. Both of you are strong and positive minded, and we are all behind you. My suggestion about the specialist is that while you are waiting, keep a diary each day. Do you feel worse at a certain time or after certain foods? Was the weather a factor. I was asked a lot of questions, and of course, my answers weren't exact. I hope you have answers soon.

I agree! Chasing migraine triggers, I had to track everything for awhile to figure out what things caused them for me.

    • @janetgray8737
      @janetgray8737 6 месяцев назад +8

That is a wonderful suggestion. I had to do that myself when I started having dizziness and vomiting. I started keeping track. What the doctor said was that I had Tinnitus and Mennieres Disease. I knew I had Tinnitus, but the Mennieres Disease made sense when he told me the dizziness occurs when a weather front comes in. This week was a tough one because that freeze front bothered me. I had a headache for 2 days and some dizziness. I have medicine and it does help me a ton. I hope this helps Brooke of keeping a diary.

TOTALLY agree with this…. I stopped taking over counter pain meds & I have neuropathy, arthritis & lipodema. TOTALLY eliminated added SUGAR & PROCESSED foods. Ginger oil for massaging & added tumeric to my diet & I drink DETOX tea every other week. NO pharmasuitical drugs worked, nor could I afford or trust the sporadic results!

As someone with autoimmune issues I refrain from bottled water because of microplastics. Also I don’t handle chlorinated water well. Chlorine in any form flares me. Many people like myself find relief doing keto and carnivore. I do carnivore when I am in a flare. 💕

Brooke, I watch many homestead videos. Almost every single one is experiencing illness, tragedies, and so on. I've had two death experiences in my lifetime, and I'm 61 years old. I bless hard times because that means that we have reached a point in our lives that we are ready to experience the darkness, thank it, forgive it, and release it. It's a process that we are all experiencing in one way or another. I don't believe that anything is an accident . Rebuke it and send it on its way. It's just a test and letting go of what does not belong. I pray for you and don't accept what the doctors diagnose. Send it on its way and give it to God. I do believe that we are entering the darkness to allow us to shed and release and to transform the darkness into the light through faith. God bless you and hope that this makes any sense. I pray for you, beautiful Brooke.

Rheumatology is the most sought after and least available specialty in the country. It's a problem everywhere. My MIL needed desperately to be seen by a rheumatologist within a month and could not get an appointment for 8 months. That was about 6 years ago in Missouri. I have autoimmune disorders and don't even have a rheumatologist. Here, the rheumatologists cover not only the large metro area I'm in but they travel to at least 2 if not 3 other metros to care for patients because we are so short of rheumatologists. Most are arrogant, opinionated and don't listen. You get 5 minutes with them if you're lucky. So, if you have a good one, hang on to them and treat them right! Recognize that you are blessed to have them.
Brooke, I wish you all the best in finding an awesome rheumatologist who will spend the time necessary with you and treat you right. You deserve it. We all do. ❤

One of your biggest culprits is the weather. I always feel it the most before the storm. You will most of the time be better than the weathermen.

I am with you- all water does not taste the same! LOL! Listening to you talk today reminded me of when I moved to a new town that added floride and other chemicals to their water. I was fine for the first year and then the migraines and autoimmune flares started. Switching to bottled water helped but bottle water also had some floride and a few months later the symptoms returned. Once I moved to well water/ no floride everything was much better. Something to consider ;-)

You might look into the closest med school. They usually have a hospital attached to school and their drs are usually the best in your area. I am a retired nurse and learned this while I was working.

Your well is so deep your water is bound to be good! Agree with others- water in plastic = nano plastics in the water. County water = chlorine, chloramines. Well water = well filtered water probably with minerals your body needs. Good choice!

After finally getting initial diagnosis, I did feel better knowing. Went to 4 rheumatologists all said basically the same. Autoimmune is very difficult to treat, one reason is because everyone has an individual system. What works for one may not work for another. And you will never be rid of it, you may just slow the progress. Just have to be ready to deal with every day.

Great news on the test results. Changing over to pure well water might be good for your health without the chemical exposure to county water & bottles. Best to Jamie too.

Brooke, try a food diary. Write down everything you eat and then see how you feel. If you have a bad day just refer back to your diet. It's easy and cheap and it will give you a lot of good information. Best of luck to you!!

Brooke, I was just like you about water. However, I was diagnosed with my first autoimmune illness in 1997. I now have asthma (born with), Type 2 Diabetes caused by autoimmune and 5 autoimmune illnesses. What worked for me was filtering water and keeping it ice cold. I have a 32oz stainless insulated water bottle. I keep ice and water in it 24/7. It goes everywhere with me, but without the ice, I still can't drink the water. Hope this might help you too.🙏

Please check out Dr Ken Berry here on youtube, he helped with my auto immune issues. Also, my cousin got rid of her type 2 diabetes just changing what we ate. ❤

When we lived in Colorado there was a natural spring outside of town. We saved our milk jugs and filled them up brought them home. Delicious. Minerals in the water kept your bowels regular and boost your energy. Neicè and baby 3mthsold came for visit baby was constipated. Gave her a bottle of spring water she exploded in her diaper. Neice took a jug home

Sending lots of prayers for sweet Jami! Glad your test was negative. I have Fibromyalgia and there are days that the pain is so much worse. I notice it more when our weather is changing. My flare ups are awful. Hope you don't have to wait a super long time to be seen.
