One question from a new potter...Does using the torch to speed the process of trimming and such increase the risk of your piece cracking? I like the idea of torching but am concerned about drying too quickly. Thanks Scott

For beginners like me, the position of you thumb is interesting. It is sometimes hard to make the thumb "go in" properly.
@DirtKickerStudio I USE THE HYDRO BAT SYSTEM THAT THE CERAMIC SHOP MAKES IN PHILY PA. ITS PLASTER AND WITH THE SMALLER BATS YOU NEED AN ADAPTOR.. JOHN

RabbitKat Lady the torch is only to speed up trying. It's a stoneware clay and fired in a kiln
