Perfect pitch is different from relative pitch though you can have relative pitch and still get the notes of a song correct especially if you've heard it before. perfect pitch is when you hear a note and know what it is the moment it's played.

What they are identifying is actually if they have RELATIVE pitch which has to do with simply remembering and singing the note or key that songs are in, PERFECT pitch includes that, but also means that you can identify what letter note (C, G#, etc) any note that is played is from memory.
