    Gilly, thank you so much for putting this out. It's so difficult to find a modern review from the past 3 years of this bike and you putting out a 20+ min video about it has really been helpful in helping me decide how to proceed with getting a bike after CBT. Thank you!

    Such a pity they stopped production of this model, it would be great with the upgrades the cb125r got in '21/'22. Fantastic little bike. And, typical of honda, modest spec numbers are rendered entirely redundant by real world performance.

    @nickmorgan9345 7 дней назад +3

    Ideally for a dead accurate speed on these bikes, you'll need to get your phone mounted on your handle bars showing your true GPS speed, as all vehicle speedometers vary and generally read between 5-10% faster than actual GPS speed 👍

    • @GillyBikes
      @GillyBikes 7 дней назад +2

      Hopefully as the channel grows I might be able to get some better kit to add on to monitor the speed.

    Nice little 125 sports bike , & it’s a Honda , I also couldn’t detect any popping , crackling & spitting on the overrun , which is good as the aftermarket can seems a good match for the engine . I reckon these Repsol logo bikes should have been cheaper to buy , as the rider is giving free advertising to Repsol . All 125 ‘s should easy hit at least 65 mph , even the old CG Honda 125 ‘s from the 1980 ‘s would do 66 mph & 70 + on clock with two valve push rod engine with standard fuel miser economy carburettor fitted . 👍

    • @GillyBikes
      @GillyBikes 7 дней назад +1

      I would bet this will easily make 70+ a very quick bike compared to most 125’s.

      @@GillyBikes I reckon the Suzuki GP 100 two stroke 98 cc , I used for a commuter in the early 1980 ‘s , would have smoked most modern four stroke 125 ‘s including that 125 Repsol jobby . I saw 75 on clock in favourable conditions sitting bolt upright , Suzuki claimed 12 hp & 68 mph top speed . 😎👍

    • @GillyBikes
      @GillyBikes 6 дней назад +1

      @maskedavenger2578 it probably would have. This is still good though. Given the run up this would easily go over 70

    I think this is the reason my channel is so unsuccessful... a lack of variety.
    Where I live you cannot take a 125 (or anything under 500cc) for a test ride and none of the Chinese dealers have demo machines.

    • @GillyBikes
      @GillyBikes 7 дней назад

      no one generally has 125’s as demo bikes. I’m just very lucky to have the support of In2moto. But prior to them helping I was driving all over looking for demo bikes to ride. I’d never managed to test anything under a 350 prior to their help. Just keep going. The best advice I can give is Ride whatever you can get your hands on. Dealerships, your own bikes, mates bikes.
