@@stevenhorstgeorg5728 I know exactly what it does because I watched a breakdown of the ability and unit. It annoys me to no end that developers and designers which should have decades of experience are capable of making such bad game design decisions when they are copying some of the best designed games ever made. Let me explain the basics of why the "exo" is a terrible copy of the marine, mainly in regards to the stim ability. While marines in starcraft have the ability to stim manually by the player, which trades a bit of life for a movement and attack speed, the "exo" gets a movement bonus after attacking an enemy unit. Here's why that's terrible from a game design perspective: 1) Unlike stim which requires player strategy and input, the exo ability is passive, and a player cannot ensure that all or certain exos get the bonus at the same time. 2) This leads to a major problem, which is that if you are retreating (kiting) an enemy force, there is a high likelihood that only the exos at the rear of your formation will attack the pursuing enemy, meaning that not only is your whole force no longer able to kite back in good order, but the faster exos will be blocked from being able to utilize the speed bonus by the exos in front of them which didn't get to attack 3) The fact that there is no trade-off of losing health or some other (actually original) effect makes the ability both forgettable (I don't even know what it's called) and without tactical depth. It's also boring from an artistic perspective. The idea of space marines taking drugs to make them move and attack fast is just a fun idea. Can you explain what is even happening with the exo ability? I'm sure you could quote the SG wiki, but you wouldn't need to do that if you saw the stim ability toolpick in starcraft. Lastly, I've never played any warcraft game, but if they copied stim and made it fun to use, that's fine. Thanks for bringing up another example of SG's failings!
