I was excited to see this experiment and did the same today. Facing difficulty to burn the gas on my stove as a test. Don't know what is the problem but red hot element is also not able to burn out flame.
Can anyone guide pls? I have used a thin wire of element jo soldering iron ki heating rod me lagi hoti hy.
How did you use the wire either naked or with the inner base intact? I can't imagine not lightning fire once gas is passing through red hot filament. Only explanation is that temperature is dropping below the ignition level of gas which is usually 575 to 600 °C.

Same problem I bought the nicrome wire and I used 3 inch's of it and made it like spring of 1 inches it turns to red hot but unfortunately unable to burn the fame from the gas but when I test it with paper it burns but it did not burn out the flame with gas

Practically gas jab main se off ho to dobara gas on hone pe gas ka flow ni hona chahye agar apka thermostate theek he to. Es sorat me apka ye jugad fail he😂
Very good idea. But it will use almost 8 units of electricity in a month with 12V 1A adapter. Ideal solution is to use a gas sensor to turn on the heater but that will be expensive solution
Bro, for convenience its small price.
Shahid Sahib please explain where the gas sensor can be placed to avoid it getting burnt. The purpose is to ignite the burner which is only possible if the heating sensor of the pilot keeps on giving thermal input to the actuator which allows gas flow to the main burner. That is why once the pilot goes off and gets cold, the actuator cuts off the gas supply to the burner as a safety measure.

superb video, great idea , is ko or b refine kia ja sakta hai , app is per kam kartay rahain , aacha product ban sakta hai ya .. is mein timer b add kia ja sakta hai , so that sara waqat charger na chalta rahay , gyser on karnay kay cuch dair bad timmer off ho jayay and thermocouple main burner say heat ho jayay ..

In my opinion 12 volt glow plug used in cars/trucks can be substituted for this purpose.
I use instant geyser and don't have this type of tank geyser to try that. If you try that. let us know. Thanks
Glow plug consume high ampere of current. Which is not economical and long time run may cause problem.

I don't think that would be a good idea coz then the element will glow to it's full potential which will be hazardous! Brother used 12volt 1amp power supply which was enough to glow element to an extent which can ignite flame. Using 65ah battery will provide upto 65amperes which may result in draining of battery sooner. Instead it will act as heater😅.
@wahajnaeem1821 nahi bhai 65Ah battery wont start pumpinh 65Amps through it, depends on length of wire, more longer more resistance less current flow. 65Ah is just capacity of battery, it can deliver even higher current upto 200Amps 300Amps also which it does during car starting
@@faizanmuneeb6801 absolutely right, capacity is AH, it delivers A. Which as you mentioned upto 200-300amps during car start, 100% right. But, he mentioned during video that use a 400watts, but you utilitize a part of it so that it uses less than 400watts i.e. 100watts, can't decrease further as would be insufficient to ignite flame. Now calculate how long can a 65AH battery last. If you combine it with a solar plate, then your idea becomes brilliant!

Proper system is a must.
This heating element is atleast 20 watts. It will consume 1 unit of electricity in 50 hours or 14 units in one month. It is very expensive to run this heating coil continuously.

Bhai es project main masail kafi hain, like load shedding may result in cooling down of pilot due to which you may have to manually start the geyser. Also it may result in blast if gas keeps running and and the coil is turned on after delay due to load shedding. Also constantly heating the coil 24x7 will also consume a lot of electricity. Your project of using Gas cylinder to run the pilot flame is better and reliable. One can also use a electric solenoid valve on gas pipe to avoid wastage of gas if the gas comes during late hours, the valve has to be connected to smart programmable wifi switch of sonoff or tuya brands, which can be controlled by mobile app.
No chance of blast. In load sheding. When Element off then gas also will b off til then you shuld manualy turn on..
