This is how all communities, especially during the earliest of Islam in far away places like Crimea, South America, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, et al. It always began with one people, and then one after another everyone slowly helps develop the community contributing what they can. The more fortunate one helps financially in doing waqaf to sustain the project of expanding the mosque and community. That is how Islam grows, it's so beautiful to see this cooperation among believers to strive towards God. May God help your community and ease all your affairs, amiin.
Drawing inspiration from Japanese Muslims or Spanish Muslims, the dawa should assimilate with culture, encompassing art, language, food, architecture, attire, ancient wisdom, law, and morality. It should incorporate Slovak symbols that distinguish it from other European cultures. Nurturing organic cultural growth. You will need support from a Slovak scholar who is an expert in culture and fiqh. Navigating this path can be a minefield at times and requires careful crafting. We Indonesians have our own Nusantara culture, which includes Muslims in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Brunei.
Salamalaykum brother Jan, my wife is from Slovakia Bratislava to be specific, and now whenever I visit Slovakia, which is I do so often always struggle to find a place to pray. Sometimes we in the rooms in some buildings, sometimes We end up in basement.. our brother, Abu Shabib, who is the owner of the orient shop near the old town he knows some places for prayers. I do believe that your work for the Daawa would be rewarded by Allaha, i hope I hope that my next visit to Bratislava in the early summer this year to meet with you and other brothers in the congregation. best regards from Tarek from Dubai

Great Quote by Jan on Leadership! "If you can create a good vision for people. Just set up the vision and start doing it. People themselves will then own the vision and will want to become a part of it."
This is amazing Mashallah my father just opened a mosque and to have a place to pray and have a mosque is a big deal. Not only is it a place for other Muslims to come from far, each prayer is multiplied in the mosque and for that it doesn’t matter if there are a few people. May Allah help and bless you in your vision. It is a fardu kifayah to help spread Islam in Slovakia. I admired your strengths to make your vision successful. Insyaallah there will be a mosque in Slovakia and full of people.

Every nation converted to Islam had a proud history who started it and made his people saved and back to the nature to the simplicity of Islam and tranquility strength physically and mentally via Islam. May Allah raise your name among Slovaks and all Muslim Ummah for years and centuries to come. Take the opportunity, Islam will spread and is spreading by Allah confirms so be a reason to take the honour brother.

May God preserve you from Wahhabism and grant you to die on the belief of Ahlou Sounnah. Amen! And may God grant you to dream of the prophet Mouhammed! Amen!

This is making me emotional subhanallah! We hear about the stories of early Islam and the Sahaba slowly building the Muslim community and its almost a fantasy to think of how such a big religion started in a little house with a few followers. To see it in real time is astounding!! May Allah continue blessing you and your community brother!!
I am glad that you take this initiative. Locals (reverts and converts) must lead the drive to promote Islam otherwise it would forever be a foreign religion in Europe. I wish you all the best. Assalamualaikum from Malaysia.
You should plan a paid tour of the city... like Halal weekend Holidays and use that money to fund some of the project. Talk to some travel agent if you are too busy..
May Allah bless you and reward you immensely for what you're doing for Islam and Muslims in Slovakia. SubhanAllah, imagine all the rewards you'll get from being a leading helping Muslim in Slovakia, maybe in 30-60 years there'd be a big number of Muslims in Slovakia remembering you and praying for you brother. Even if no one would remember you, it's still a sadakah jaryiah for you. May Allah purify our intentions and bless our deeds.
Many years to come, scholars studying Islam in Slovakia will search information about you. In Indonesia's history of Islam, the Nine Saints are always mentioned. They are believed to be the main preachers that spread Islam in the country centuries before.
Others have rightfully praised you and undoubtedly given your further motivation. I will try and help you deal with some of the minutiae you will encounter. An important point you realized there - the energy you’re riding on will not last - make the most of it while it lasts. Don’t let the highs get you too high, and the lows get you too low. Your role, as you correctly point out is to have the vision, share that vision and have everyone work towards achieving it. Another key point bruh, is to motivate your peeps to bust through obstacles/setbacks when they inevitably arise. That is a major task on your shoulders and it is a heavy burden to bear. May Allah grant you strength.
Assalam alaikum brother Jan, may Allah give you strength and help you in establishing in your vision in Slovakia. A vision that I also share, in my case, in Spain. My advice to you brother is to remeber to educate yourself in the din and to always look into your innerself and to purify it. Another thing is that you're in a perfect situation to facilitate knowledge and books into Slovak, maybe hire translators to translate videos in english/arabic into slovak (subtitles or dubs). Or learn Arabic and become a student of knowldge and you yourself translate classical books into Slovak inshaAllah. May you succced, from your Spanish brother Amir
This is AMAZING! Well done brother. I will donate a little in shaa Allah. I pray you get an imam soon and that the muslim community continues to grow in Slovakia.
One of my favioute youtuber and person in my country once said "Dream because the thing with dreams is that they come true". I don't know if he took it it from some where but strong words and are for every one.
mashAllah you're doing really great job . for now what I recommend it's to work with a Slovak reverts who are intersted at first place by themselves and help them towards the journey of becoming knowledgable about Arabic, fiqh, aqeedah and Islam topics in general etc and after that to became imams of local masjids in Slovakia. I'm behind the opinion that especially in Eastern Europe it should be the locals who run the communities for sake of improving the deen in a specific country because the goverments there are pretty strict and conservative towards minorities and when there's a local in charge it will bring only good because of the mutual respect and understanding each other via laws, culture, language etc. may Allah protect you and help you in your next steps towards building Islam in Slovakian region
Hardest part is to start ❤ I’m so glad converts are driving your mission. Please keep it that way. You know your people the most 🙌🏾 Slavic flavour sounds great 🙌🏾 those are your people! That's great. Invite a great architect, make an unique design of the mosque, organize open iftars. 🤲🤲🤲 In Almaty almost all mosques are near bazaars and railway stations and they are dirty of smog. Build a mosque in a good neighbourhood, in the downtown, so people from all over the city could easily reach it. May Allah guide you and give you a chance to build a mosque. 🤲🤲🤲
