As many have mentioned while we are a Commonwealth country, colonized by the British, Uncle Bob (Bob Marley) had a huge influence on our music when he toured in 1979 which was predominantly from the UK & US. The number of Jamaicans I've met in NZ I could count on one hand, not alot of Jamaicans reside in Aotearoa (A-o-te-a-ro-a = Land Of The Long White Cloud = NZ). It’s pronounced Na-ti-ka-hu it’s a silent g. Awesome reaction. They are currently one of the best live bands in NZ. They are versatile group playing reggae, electronic, blues, rock & funk. Please react to ‘In The Air’ or ‘Controller’ 🙏 ‘In The Air’ was their biggest No.1 hit in NZ and overall for 2020.
