Dante, new subscriber from NZ. L A.B are one of the biggest bands in NZ. As many have mentioned while we are a Commonwealth country, colonized by the British, Uncle Bob (Bob Marley) had a huge influence on our music when he toured in 1979 which was predominantly from the UK & US. The number of Jamaicans I've met in NZ I could count on one hand, not alot of Jamaicans reside in Aotearoa (A-o-te-a-ro-a = Land Of The Long White Cloud = NZ).
If you like their vibe you might want to checkout more of their discography before their one-off concert on 14th May at Belly Up, Solana Beach, CA US.
Here's a few suggestions
(Their Live Studio performances, Massey/Roundhead, are always best)

Proud Man
Ain't No Use (Live at One Love 2021)

Another Kiwi artist you should checkout who recently interviewed Ziggy Marley (Bob's son) is here for the WOMAD (World Of Music And Dance) Festival on Fri 8th March - Mon 11th March.
Stan Walker "IAM", "Maori ki te Ao" or Kanye Wests cover of "Ultralight Beam".
NZ was hella influenced by old school reggae, bob marley, peter tosh, jimmy cliff, musical youth. That influence carried through to our music, NZ loves reggae music and its irie vibes all day.
That’s that Māori one drop ❤ only in New Zealand
Update: L.A.B are heading your way US Tour 9 - 25 May Thought you might want to checkout more of their VIBE just in case you get the urge to check them out. Cheaper than a flight to NZ.

It’s pronounced Na-ti-ka-hu it’s a silent g. Awesome reaction. They are currently one of the best live bands in NZ. They are versatile group playing reggae, electronic, blues, rock & funk. Please react to ‘In The Air’ or ‘Controller’ 🙏 ‘In The Air’ was their biggest No.1 hit in NZ and overall for 2020.
Nnng-ah-tee-car-who
Dont hit the g so hard mah g 😁
The most iconic influence of reggae to the Kiwis in my opinion is Bob Marley, to the extent is that most of us grew up knowing Bob Marley as Uncle Bob, awesome reaction, I hope you stay on LAB they play a few genres in their menu, reggae, funk, rock but def a twist of their own, ruclips.net/video/2scy1xNzkH8/видео.htmlsi=Oc3xDx6j8Qti4rMP this is fashion dread live version and one of my fav that I dont think gets to much air play is "Backseat - ruclips.net/video/IC1JU49Kkow/видео.htmlsi=ohV8mx9Uh7EwL3PC" which gives me a modern take on the neville brothers style crossed with earth wind and fire.
Slow tempo but still fire! Yes sir
Bro please check out some SIX60 🙌 Hands down the finest band besides L.A.B to come out of NZ 🇳🇿💯
