this place never goes wrong! very thai, very affordable, very friendly, loads of eating joints! planing to spend 2 months there every year after i retire!
Really Good Choice, the thing that really attracts me to Cha Am is the PEOPLE, the People there are Fantastic! I can't wait to get back there myself. 🤠
u r spot on!, in my opinion the locals there are real locals who r born and bred around cha am or petchaburi province therefore the general hospitality/ attitudes towards the tourists there is still genuine whereas places like pattaya, samui, phukets r full of outsiders from other provinces trying to make loads of money as quickly as possible, their attitudes towards tourists r totally differents from of those thais in cha am, if u know what I mean
Jeju Airlines from Korea flies straight out of Saipan but I had a 10 hour Layover in Korea. flying to Guam costs $400 ONE WAY!! I flew all the way to BKK for only $535
No the Problem isn't the TYPE of Coffee, it is the AMOUNT of Coffee they put in the Cup. Thai Style is to only serve about 3 or 4 oz Cups Half full. THAT's IT! Starbucks you can get a 20oz Cup FULL. THAT is Americano Style. BIG difference. I have found SOME 7 Elevens serve 12oz Cups, but Amazon Coffee only Serves 4oz Cups Half Full, and if you tell them to fill the Cup up, they get bent about it. THAT was the Point I was trying to make.
@@marksawesomeadventures yes I have experienced that also. I took a few moka pots to my Thai family and got them all hooked on better coffee and Im usually carrying 10lbs of coffee when I travel to Thailand.
@@ronstorms4363 I have been to Thailand many times, I was engaged to 4 different Thai Girls (never married though) so Thailand is like my Home, I know Thai people, and I know how to even COOK Thai food, so when I look at Foods or Pick something I already know what I am getting. Maybe I will do more Food Videos in the Future, if you watch my Hua Hin Video I have some Thai Foods in that Video, I DO Like the Hot Stuff, because that is Normal in Thai Food, and I like it the way They like it. For me, it just doesn't taste the same without the Hot Stuff. I Like Curries and Seafoods, but I Also really like Pad Thai if it is done right. Problem is most people don't know how to Cook Pad Thai Correctly. The Foods on my Thumbnail is Toasted Coconut. It's Delicious if you ever get a chance to taste it, the Mexicans make it too, almost the exact same way.
As a Thai laving in California, never stopped by Cha Am. Seem nice for future trip.
We liked Cha am so much we bought a Rai of land & are going to retire there.

@@lecannet My wife's, she will own the land, I will own the house.

I love the casuarina trees on the beach, and of course, no rubbish washed up … 🎉
Great views on this video, Mark! The sunrise with your coffee looks amazing
Thanks for watching!
This is the best video I have seen about Cha am. Thank you.
@@teresap1172 Thank YOU! 😁
That big semi outdoor restaurant you sat in could do with some pot plants inside and outside …
Cha Am is the best! Hopefully it stays just how it is!
I love how it’s like going back 20+ years. Not overdeveloped, or hordes of boorish “han$um men” staggering around …

If you ask for Arabica coffee at coffee shops you can often get a better cup of coffee.

@@marksawesomeadventuresYes, but Starbucks and American coffee in general is garbage. I’m from Melbourne, originally. Best coffee in the world … 🎉
