Pretty sure he was released quite a while ago but is basically blacklisted in the industry unfortunately. Really a shame, his work on Kaiji, Akagi, and Death Note was incredible

I think one of the problems is that season 3 has a mahjong based game in it and not many people outside of japan know how mahjong works. But honestly, I think people can still appreciate it. The way Kaiji came up with to beat his opponent in that game was awesome.

Idk but i feel like the season 1 ost was way more better. I mean s2 ost is great without a doubt, but in s1 were so many mind blowing soundtracks that i was goind insane, meanwhile in s2 all of soundtracks just good and thats it. I wish they used some tracks from s1 for some scenes in s2. But this is just imo. Anyway thanks to Hideki Taniuchi for his beautiful work
This soundtrack is phenomenal. Bless this perfect adaptation. I'd do anything for a season 3 T_T
All I want from Madhouse is more Fukumoto anime
Me too bro... and even more for Akagi S2
@@omgiam2hot in a perfect world, they'd animate the rest of Washizu Mahjong

BEST OST EVER
Kaiji's ost is really great for reading suspense/horror manga.
I love how it can both be hopeful and full of despair at the same time
Hyper Zawa will always be my most favourite one
Absolute masterpiece, this and the Death Note soundtrack are genius
Hideki Taniuchi is a genius, but with his musical career in Japan is over (cannabis and then prison). :(

That suuuucks. You know that cannabis helped with this epic music. I hate their stigmas
@@JordoMajima No ofense, but F you. "It's not skill, it's tha drugs, thas why drugs should be legal" like wtf.

Madhouse is almost dead so why not GAMBLE with a season 3 of Kaiji (and season 4 and 5)
