Thanks for the wonderful tutorial! Do you have any rules for layering? From white/light color to dark color etc. or just anyway you like? Generally how many layers in a painting, etc. Thanks.
Thank you. Someone once said to me the secret of a really great painting is layers layers layers… the more layers the deeper your painting will look and I agree. There’s no maximum or minimum really, it’s a case of sharpening your eye to see what parts can be improved upon until you feel it is done.
I always go from dark to light with the highlights being the very last addition
