He showed it best on one episode where he removed the barrel of a pistol to use it as a wrench to shut of or release some valve. He then commented to himself that for once he found good use for a handgun or something along those lines. I must had been around ten years old when I watched that scene and I'm 44 now and I still remember it. Now compare that with today's shows or movies where blood is spilled like water.
My favorite quote from MacGyver: MacGyver is being held hostage, and the bad guys are forcing him to repair some machinery. All the bad guys leave the room, except for a kid who they left in charge of watching him. MacGyver picks up a metal part. Bad guy - "What's that?" MacGyver- "Lateral... cranial... impact enhancer." WHAMMMMMO
Yeah the music slightly differed each season, and some of the scenes were also changed. One of the seasons (possibly #4 if my memory serves me right) was for some reason the shortest of the intro with server also seconds shaved off.
My foster mom got me interested in MacGyver when I was still a young girl and I am now 46 years old and still love this series,but MURDOC scared the crap out of me and still does when I watch the show now he was just so creepy(I have all 7 seasons on dvd). Another thought just occured to me when I read your post I don't know if he will even be in the remake.

The 80s TV series had quite a few great theme songs. The A Team is another one I always enjoyed as a kid back then. Seriously got me pumped up! Always got chills down my spine listening to it, like I could take on any bad guy coming at me! BRING IT! lol :)

We had one color TV in the house of 4 kids, and it was mine for an hour. No one else in the house watched it. I think I was the only 6th grade girl who had RDA posters in my locker. My heart still hitches when I hear this song.
I locked my self out few days ago and none of my neighbours was at home. The MacGyver inside of me came out and so i've used a piece of plastic from a delivery package to open the door. I felt like MacGyver on that moment. Can't stop to listen this song now.

I LOOOOOVVVEEED RDA. Like when it came on, I made sure I prepared popcorn and a drink, and no one but no one was to interrupt me during that time. We had one color TV in the house of 4 kids, and it was mine for an hour. No one else in the house watched it. I think I was the only 6th grade girl who had RDA posters in my locker. My heart still hitches when I hear this song.

He heals, he performs miracles, and he also ejects from aircrafts at a high rate of speed.
I loved the episode concerning the rhinos. He spoke at the end of the show saying how few there are left. It was touching.
I locked my self out few days ago and none of my neighbours was at home. The MacGyver inside of me came out and so i've used a piece of plastic from a delivery package to open the door. I felt like MacGyver on that moment. Can't stop to listen this song now.
I mean I’m 12 but my dad loved this show and even though I’m you we still love it! It brings back so many little memories of us watching it with him❤️

Good times. I miss my dad this was one of his favorite shows, I would always hear the theme playing as I went to bed for school. There is something missing in our world in today's time it just seems so different now. The '80s will never be duplicated such a simpler time.
