I've been using Asuka/Spear of Longinus for its shielding capabilities for tough solo scenarios but I think I have Zero at least at A4 and would like to try out more weapon combinations, so it sounds like he might be worth taking another look at, thank you.

Zero 4piece works like a charm on benediction fiona with torrential force you keep spamming discharges
It will give whole team damage boost and fiona discharge also gives a sheild

I've never used Zero at all, but he still seems pretty decent for support mains. Though, support mains should invest in Brevey or Fiona if they want to be viable in endgame content. Especially Brevey, since she has the ability to clear the "Graying Bite" debuff from her party members which is deadly if not treated quickly.

add you need is Zero and Lyra/Coco if you want to be carried on OOW and VA.
