They're finally done! I'm so excited to have these vivariums built and I CAN'T WAIT to get started on the 600! I already have most of the materials needed and should be starting any day now. Stay tuned for that build and give the video a like to help support the creation of content like this. If you have any comments about the build, let me know and I'll do my best to respond. Have a great weekend!
Dude, obviously you have proven yourself to ba an amazing artist!, but I do not think you get near enough credit for what a great carpenter you are, those were some tricky cuts and measurements, and you nailed it!! (No pun intended)
You left out the really good tip, which is make sure whatever size enclosure you make ,the dimensions fit thru your door...lol I totally built a stand and didn't think about the doors width so I had to modify!! As always tanner great video and your craftsmanship never gets old you are gifted!!!
Tanner: okay so today I’m going to be scaping the Amazon, this isn’t my usual but let’s get started! Also Tanner: Okay so today I’m going to be scaping a Petri dish I love how diverse your channel is, and the builds/designs you come up with man! Keep it up ❤️
Tanner, my son and I just finished building our 4 x 2 x 2 based off your design in this video. It turned out really great. Will be building the smaller ones to stack on top. Great work in your videos and builds. Much inspiration!
Good warning about making the racks or structures a bit smaller than the room. I did the same thing for my fish racks and only barely got it into the garage. Great work. And that big boy tank is a great chameleon habitat.
not joking, i think you have a great opportunity here to start a business! your knowledge of making successful enclosures and your craftsmanship, you could make little starter kits or even just specialize in designing long term enclosures for clients. Not to mention your social media presence, i think it would be a hit!
Absolutely fabulous. I am considering getting a Chinese water dragon and/or a Vietnamese blue beauty rat snake and I want them to live in luxury, but I can't really afford to buy an enormous enclosure on top of all the other expenses. I'm not great at building things but this build (especially since I don't have any qualms about cutting corners in the aesthetic department) seems really doable. Thank you.
You have a spectacular gift and those are truly a work of art! My dad used to make all my animal enclosures, I really miss him! He came in at a close second to you, and that’s saying something because he was an exceptional artist!
This was by far one of the best reptile DIY enclosure videos I've seen thank you for all the information I'll definitely be building my own enclosure soon
Love how much detail you always include and still make it look so easy. Thanks for including us on your builds!! Your videos are always such quality on top of the amazing projects you do
you just gave me all the motivation to do a ply wood enclosure for my 2 leopard gekos. idk what size cause i want them to have all the room in the world but i also dont want to get in over my head. im thinking like a 4 ft by 2 foot on a shelf. with day/night timers (with moon light so i can observe them at night), and a 2-3 minute daily mister for the plants and insects i have living with them.
Enjoyed that as always. Had my cursor on the screen while he was stapling on the trim board, realized it was in the way of the stapler...moved the cursor out of the way so he could staple. I'm weird.
Thanks for making these videos - your woodworking tutorials inspired me to finally get a table saw with the plan to start making enclosures from scratch. I intend to start as soon as I am convinced I can do so without losing any fingers.
I started following you a year ago because of the awesome terrariums you make. But for some reason I enjoy this building videos a lot more. Love to see some tutorials of all the other projects you have keep in mind.
Amazing enclosures and craftsmanship. I am close to finishing an 800+ gallon enclosure for my Reticulated python. I sealed the interior with pond armor and I am about to finishing carving the foam for the rock background and start sealing it with grout.
As a craftsman of a high degree, I say Thank You. Your videos are always very well explained and represented. Best of success with the new digs! Love ya! Mean it@ Coop.
Brilliant and inspiring as always. Even though I work with totally different materials I always feel inspired to go organize my mini shop after watching your builds!
I need to bite the bullet & attempt my first build like this, it's the waterproofing that worries me. But im so sick on not being able to find the exact size enclosures I want. As always thanks for sharing your knowledge! ❤
I really love this look, it reminds me of the cupboards in the old, school biology classrooms which had the same glass and the drawers and cupboards with the same doorknobs and stain as you have used. It's a very old school science exhibit feel and I really love it, it's got that apothecary vibe too which is a similar look. ( When I say old school referring to my old school I am not joking as I am 65 and the school I am thinking of was a Victorian building and probably hadn't changed too much since it was built!). Also, I love that you used reclaimed materials! Love it, in fact I love it so much I may just use the idea for other cupboards in my house!
Lol, “easy” build. Maybe for you! You’re a genius in this stuff. These enclosures are beautiful. Soon as I get a house, I’m building some massive vivs for my boas
Thank you for inspiring my first terrarium with your terrarium building video! (local ecosystem) It was a failure, but I had a blast building and watching it.
Definitely curious to see what you do with the 600. With that kind of height, I can see a multi-tiered, meandering waterfall with the occasional pond tieing everything together. Should be interesting, regardless.
Beautiful builds Tanner, The best part of these builds is that now you can have a pet human that you can house properly, but good luck with the training! ; ) Keep Safe Always, Peace, Happiness, Love and Laughter All, Matt - Toronto, Canada
He's been invited to do builds for others, and I am pretty sure SerpaDesign is his company.... that designs builds. I wish I could afford to hire him. I thought I was doing pretty well, living in an apartment, maintaining fish tanks and growing a fair amount of our salad, herbs, and turtle food. Then I see this, and realize I am slacking, lol
I keep trying to find a set up I would love and fit all my needs and I can’t find something that I actually like that not crazy expensive… so I am going to make my own! Thank you for this video!!
awesome video as usual! i just made a large plywood tank and used flex seal to seal it, 2-3 thick layers completely waterproofed it but i’m thinking i’ll use something cheaper in the future, as it took like 4 cans and each one was $30
homie, ur a goat 🐐 . thank u i always go back u to ur videos whenever i do any of these type of projects. ur channel covers all the bases. super informative, inspiring creative designs, and u take extra time in detailing steps to ensure safety of the animals. you rock bro.
And I thought you built it to lock up your Clones. 😅. Super Nice build Tanner. It's about the same size as my orchidarium case, but mine is wider and not quite as tall. Made of tempered glass and plexi. In an apt, there's really no space to build anything myself. I've shared Many if ur vids with friends wanting to have something similar as your techniques are fairly universal. 😉. Thanks Tanner...🥳😎✌️
small but huge tip. get yourself an impact drill. much better for drilling screws and making sure it doesnt strip the wood. use regular drill for bit with counter sink and impact for 1/4 drive Philips chuck
Great job! A lot of work, appreciate it. Now I'm starting my own project -Argentine Black & White Tegu's terrarium. You inspired me and gave me some fuel. Thank you! :)
Hey man these videos are a huge inspiration, I've made so many different terrariums since finding your channel. I've even got friends into it. Always excited for new content!
>The 600 is a blank slate. The 600 is prime for a pair of Emerald Tree Monitors(Varanus prasinus), A Green Iguana(Iguana iguana) or a Sailfin Dragon(Hydrosaurus).
Absolutely beautiful and you make it look so easy lol I’m building a enclosure for my Tegu. Going to try to use some of the ideas I like the liquid rubber.

I’m you’re favorite
Hello! How's your day going?
You inspired me! Thank you
Always going all out love to see it
I really needed this video hadda hard week
If these DIY enclosures are "easy", I can't imagine what "hard" looks like.
You are very talented!
Finally a “tank big enough for a beta”. In all seriousness, this vivarium looks amazing! Can’t wait to see how it develops over time.
Might be a little cramped, but it's doable for 1 male Betta.
@@Arguvandal no no no that's animal abuse!
Only the bottom area can be filled with water, which is around 20 gallons. But i don't think that's the purpose of this Vivarium 😂
@@haar637 Its a joke about the people who are never satisfied with how big your beta tank is.
I’m pretty sure the 13 Amendment bars keeping betas like this.
In the thumbnail, I'm amazed how Tanner was able to round up his 3 brothers for a picture
The weak should fear the strong
He is the most powerful of the four brothers
They're not his brothers, they're his clones. How else do you explain the sheer amount of work "one man" gets done in a week?
@@Faesharlyn nice try, Tanner favorited the comment, so based on canon, they are his brothers
same lmfao. took me a second
"You're not supposed to cut into the wood for these hinges but I did anyway"
Tanner you madlad
He's on fire!
I really appreciated your taking the time to make the Pros/Cons lists for the sealants!
Dude, obviously you have proven yourself to ba an amazing artist!, but I do not think you get near enough credit for what a great carpenter you are, those were some tricky cuts and measurements, and you nailed it!! (No pun intended)
Haha thanks! I think I'm proficient in carpentry, but there's certainly a lot to improve on.
@matt james countersink 🙂. I think he did a great job
You left out the really good tip, which is make sure whatever size enclosure you make ,the dimensions fit thru your door...lol I totally built a stand and didn't think about the doors width so I had to modify!! As always tanner great video and your craftsmanship never gets old you are gifted!!!
It’s a sad day when you’re up before the serpa upload so you’ve got to wait for that notification 😂

This is cruel, that vivarium is obviously too small for a human, you need atleast an entire city for a human
Lol! Some would argue that a city is not big enough 😉
@@SerpaDesigncities are not Appropriate for humans because there is way to much cohabitation
What is this? A school for ants?
@@skinnyslims5327 tq for this reply lol, i forgot how much i miss looking at Serpa's videos

No it's not, as it doesn't have much ventilation.
I would love an animal room update! We haven’t got one in a while and seeing the room with the new tanks would be awesome!
Doing one at some point in the near future. I think keeping it to one a year makes the most sense.

It's a good thing you did, otherwise your cursor would have been stuck.
That was super interesting.
I didnt realize how labor intensive it is to do it properly.

i really like the comparisons you between liquid rubber and pool epoxy, the pros & cons !!
that giant tank would be great for medium-large arboreal animals, like a boa constrictor! a boa would LOVE that climbing space.
