I saw Oliver live in his hometown of Santa Rosa,CA. Loved his act, he was better than the headliner that night. Funny guy, humor is a bit off but I love his delivery. Great show, I was very impressed and thought he was great.
To all my weird people out there who don't fit in, he's one of us ☺️ I loved him, I hope he makes it far and his dreams come true 👏👏 his look reminded me of tape face to 😄
No matter how many times the lesson has been given, people STILL judge a book by its cover. It hurts my heart that people didn't give him a chance, but at least that's going to change for him. And I'm impressed that he got up there even though he thought the reaction would be the opposite. By the way, his comedic timing is on point.
Daniel Walker LoL yes! That's what I was thinking, maybe he is goth but he was definitely dressed up as if to over exaggerate with the cheap wig and bad makeup. Funny guy none the less and a genius move on his part.
No I believe Howie knew. He said “from the moment you walked out, your visual, your cadence”...he knew it was all an act even if he didn’t come out and say it directly
Oh, yeah, I wasn't clear that I was referencing the comment section and not really the judges. On another...note, I was literally just playing guitar and E flat was in the song. #EflatEarth

"you're so different and humble and dark, it's everything I love." - the woman who insulted him twice before the standing ovation. Just shows that peer pressure creates fake people.
This clip definitely showcases just how hard it is to not conform to society rules. To stand out and be different...to be unique.... comes with having to cope with constant negativity and even hostility and most certainly abject humiliation and rejection. Well @olivergraves, you have just been welcomed with open arms...not just by the judges and the audience, but by America and possibly even the world. Keep being who you are. As Simon pointed out in his comments, it is so much better to stand out in the crowd than it is to "blend" in. And to anyone out there that is "different", hang in there. You never know, your time to SHINE can happen if you just keep trying.
great thing to watch this again as a 32 years old. The first times I was able to watch this I am quite inspired that no matter what happens in life the saddest experience can be perceived as still something to be grateful. Now as a 32 years old as well going back to this I am almost in tears watching and knowing his hardships as I experience mine. I remember at all time in life there is always hope.

Nothing sexier than a crying goth comedian
Mmmhmmmm
Crazy that's even a real thing lol!
The Campfire. That better not be sarcasm
true
The Campfire lol 😂
I saw Oliver live in his hometown of Santa Rosa,CA. Loved his act, he was better than the headliner that night. Funny guy, humor is a bit off but I love his delivery. Great show, I was very impressed and thought he was great.
wow, thank you so much
I FREAKING LOVE THIS GUY FROM THE START!!!!! 😭😭😭
Remind me of onision
This guy reminds me of Edward Scissorhand but without the scissors of course
I love when Simon stands up for the performers
I like Oliver - I like his soul. Good man.
This is where that good old lesson “never judge a book by its cover” comes into play ❤❤
To all my weird people out there who don't fit in, he's one of us ☺️ I loved him, I hope he makes it far and his dreams come true 👏👏 his look reminded me of tape face to 😄
He makes me when to get on stage with all my weirdo brethren
The Caribbean Gypsy He was wonderful.
aren't we all weird?
The Caribbean Gypsy
MUCH LOVE TO YOU
Never Unknown lol me too
No matter how many times the lesson has been given, people STILL judge a book by its cover. It hurts my heart that people didn't give him a chance, but at least that's going to change for him. And I'm impressed that he got up there even though he thought the reaction would be the opposite.
By the way, his comedic timing is on point.
*I’m obsessed*
Im fat too, lets kill ourselves together
Id definitely pay to see his show. I GET his sense of humor too. A++++
The fact that no one knows that this is a character he’s playing makes it waaaaaaay funnier. He’s the goth equivalent of Larry the Cable Guy.
#EflatEarth
Bud, I'm pretty sure everyone knew.
Pal, did you even read the comments? Everyone did NOT know. Obviously the judges would know since they're a part of the show...
He’s hilarious because what he says is so relatable LMAO
Anybody find it weird that it's called America's got talent but only one judge is from America
None of them are American
Howie is Canadian. Only Tyra, the host, is the American.
I would say that makes it even more American. It is a country founded by immigrants and people of all nationalities.
youngest flexer of the century I find it irrelevant
@@SakuraMoonflower I think you mean aliens and fugitives
God bless man. You deserve it. When you cried I felt all your effort too. Good job man
Wtf Mel b that wig LMAOO
Jherome Slays can we talk about his wig?
Tyler Schuågh that’s probably why howie told Mel b “I think this guys perfect for u” 😂
Looks like a Oompa Loompa
I wanna give this guy a hug.
Kai Lawson that's literally all I could think of when he started crying. To finally feel the validation must have been an amazing feeling.
He probably wouldn't want that
It was a funny , sad and heartwarming performance . A wholesome performance I would say
But when he said that he didn't get booked on much shows I just broke out crying 😭
i really Like it, he could make it worldwide Comedian, i hope so!
that would be a dream come true!
I Hope All The best For You Brother you Deserved it ❤
Oliver Graves
See my other reply.
I don't judge people because they are different I love a Gothic girl named it's black Friday she's a youtuber she's amazing. But I thought this was hilarious he could be a stand up comedian professionally I give him 5 out of 5 🌟s what an amazing performance Oliver you are going to be big I can feel it sending much love your way
Oliver Graves, don't be like everyone else. As the saying goes "Do you." Best of luck on the show and with your career. 😀
i think for his audition he did really well & this guy has a lot of potential as he's competing. his jokes were mad relatable and his humor is my type good luck to him!
Proof that you don’t have to have a setup to throw jokes just timing and charisma and this guy killed it
I like that Simon stopped Howie when he started picking fun at him in the beginning, and let the guy do his act
I wanted to hear him sing Boys Don't Cry ♥
Lol
VonDa in Wonderland same lmao he gave me Robert Smith vibes
MOUSIE vibe? He’s obviously trying to look exactly like him.
VonDa in Wonderland OH MY GOD
YES!!!!
who hurt him
I read that in Peter griffins voice when he was listening to Lionel Richie song 😂😂😂
Life...hertes him
his uncle
Omg! He is so naturally funny without curse words! Yas!!!
