First of all- I really like your voice and music style, the way your play guitar. As a musician myself, I appreciate your obvious skill. Been following you since Be There Tomorrow. And I gotta say, I see your point but I think the term you're going for is maybe "Democrat" or perhaps "Zionist" or even "neocon". As someone that's been in progressive and liberal circles all by adult life, I really don't get this recent narrative put forth by right-leaners or whatever you may call yourself. Because we sure as hell don't worship Isreal or condone genocide of Palestinians (or anyone else for that matter). What is plain for anyone to see, however is how the Christian right venerates Israel as "God's chosen". So I'm just really baffled by this criticism. Any so called liberals denying the current genocide over there RN is very confused and giving left-leaners a bad name, to say the least.
Liberalism is historically a Center Right ideology. It got cooped because of the ratchet effect between the Far Right neocons and Democrats constantly serving "Bipartisanship." Liberals aren't Leftist, they're just slightly to the Left of Conservatives. Read Dr. King's message about White Liberals and you'll get every beat of this song. They don't seek Justice, they just want Peace.
