VanBanner currently has an NH34 powered GMT - the Adroit - on pre-order for approximately $240 USD. (The price is $328 CAD.) The watches are scheduled to ship in July. I think the design is a bit less polarizing than this Revelot and they have a proper, 48-click bidirectional bezel.
I'm personally not a fan of that watch but the VanBanner PM 2.0 and this Revelot are going head to head in my mind. I know this is a GMT and that one isn't but I don't really care about that, more after the design and I like the light blue models on both.
I managed to order the DUNE version of the watch. I think it looks more cohesive in terms of design than the one in this video. I can understand what you’re saying with the different design elements and colours maybe being too much. Maybe the arctic white version is more down your alley. The early bird prices are pretty much sold out.
Just ordered the meteorite dial. Didnt have one and this looks good at the price. Pin and collar is the only downside for me. Cant have it all at this price though. Most other colour dials sold out btw. With regard to the value of this one, Oceaneva gmt auto at US 249 has same spec, but 4 year movement warranty, free us shipping and 1250m water resistance. Pre order pricing. Sign up for emails and get 10% discount on that price. Not sure when it will increase, but if after a seadwell lookalike, then your in luck. Just so everyone knows, I am not affiliated in any way, just bought one of silver dial for myself. Its my only subby lookalike.....
Gary thank you a very well timed review! Lots to like there in terms of originality, specs and a timing bezel on a GMT but the lack of a minute track (other than on the bezel) is driving me nuts on this one - so I would pass (as I just did on the Zelos Mako GMT for the very same reason). Really hoping that tool watches without minute tracks is an oversight rather than the new trend - though it is saving me money!
@@andrewhannam. Andrew - you’re right but to me it’s still hard work as the 5 minute graduations are either on the bezel or on the inner track with the prominent “arrow” markers. Just feels like way too much work for something I would like to see easily at a glance. Perhaps if the dashes at the five minute points on the 24 hour track (possible minute track) were more of a T shape then it would be easier but with so much else going on I can see why the designer skipped that! I sense that I am getting pickier as my collection grows!
NO WAY is this the best value NH34(A). Aragon Divemaster TI (in titanium) is $149. The C3 SuperLuminova is SPECTACULAR in two colours (green and blue), with sapphire bezel insert. AND, unlike this watch, the Aragon actually features SII NH34A and NOT a Chinese or Malaysian TMI NH34A.
@@Revelot_Official Unfortunately didn't partake in the launch, however did just purchase your fantastic R12 Hexmariner from Timekeepers. All the best for your launch!
It's a good watch, it has a strong industrial look to it. I'm not a huge fan of the straight lugs either. In my opinion the watch looks way better with the rubber strap. But the rubber strap appears to be very long.
I participated in their previous Kickstarter Hexmariner campaign, but this model does not appeal to me more than that. I would rather find an affordable watch with a much more desirable Miyota 9075 than the NH34. Thank you Gary for this presentation.👍
Personally I find the dial too small in relation to the watch size overall. The thick bezel and massive chapter plus the continuous ring of lume all make the dial look tiny.
Great watch and impressive price . I was in the local mall yesterday and checked the Seiko's in the jeweler and the ' Seiko 5 GMT ' was ,,,,, $890 aud !!!! obscene .
I like the angular, faceted case, the bracelet and end-links but the thickness and general size are too big for me. I just don't need a GMT either so this isn't for me.
An original design which will be polarising. The case looks a bit industrial and the bracelet reminds me of tank tracks, the dial has love it or loathe it looks.
I'm in the camp that likes the design overall, but the legibility of the hour markers between 3/6/9/12 just isn't good enough. I also don't have a lot of interest in office GMTs; I feel like this watch works just fine as a three-hander, and the fourth just isn't doing anything for it but adding unnecessary thickness. It's too big for me as it is.
Revelot seems to make very nice watches. From just a personal taste aspect I'm not a fan of this dial design but it's definitely going to be popular and it's a very good price for a GMT, however the bezel is just all wrong. The GMT/diver mix just doesn't work for me.
@@Revelot_Official Yes I do understand that. Thanks. It just doesn't make any sense to me. Sorry.. I'm sure lots of people will like it. It's just a personal opinion. 🙂
Nope, too busy.dial looks like a clinched sphincter, bracelet is way too wide. The angled finish looks like it is not finished, and why a gmt function in a diver? It’s a tool watch make it either a diver with deeper water resistance or a full gmt; no compromises.
Revelot "forgot" to mention these will actually ship on August!! That's a deal killer for me, they should have been more upfront about shipping times. I like this watch, but not enough to wait for August to get it.
Hmmm, I felt as if this review lead me down a wormhole. Another great thing about Revelot is Kevin is an owner that provides some really great customer service. I am unsure if that will sway anyone one way or the other, but know that you can buy with confidence.
Ordered this color on band because bracelet was gone in 30 minutes. But to be honest the band might be an even better deal.
It's such a nice watch. I was longing for a modern-looking sports watch and then this came.
Love it! It's unique. I can understand why people find it ugly, but you've got to give them credit for producing something original
Thank you for the feedback! Hope to see you at the launch!

Gary needs to get a Aragon divemaster titanium GMT 150$ on a rubber strap. I really believe that's the best value watch
Great watch brand my friend!😍
I kinda like the carnation like dial it has!Didn't even notice it was a GMT until you mentioned it. Really subtle one.
Thank you for your honest review Gary!
The early bird may get the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese! 🤣

I agree. Its not my style but you have to give them credit for originality.
Love the sturdyness and the braceless is magnificent!
Looks like the same clasp as on my Christopher Ward and Zelos. That on-the-fly micro-adjust is great in use.

Thought the gaps in the 24hr scale were minute markers (or acted as them)?

@@grahamliggat7193 Completely agree that it would be very challenging to set on the minute. The new GMT craze is hitting full speed it seems
I love GMT divers - so handy for those multitimezone dives. This soooo overdone with too much going on. Needs moar tourbillon! 🤣🤣🤣

What I can't get my head round is the way on the 24hr bezel 12,13,14,15,16,17 all read in a different direction ??
Revelot has been doing very well design wise and this is a very unique offering.
Thank you for the feedback! Hope to see you at the launch!

The clasp on that watch looks identical to the one found on a 2020 Zelos Swordfish, except for the branding obviously.
It looks very chunky & It’ll definitely get noticed. I quite like the dark glacier variant

Steeldive makes an NH34 5KX with shorter lug to lug. Curious to see how that is.
Not a bad face but absolutely awesome LUME, possibly a world beater?

I'm really digging the style! Especially the Dark Army Steel one.
Thank you for the feedback! Hope to see you at the launch!
Definitely not a generic cut and paste job. Not my style however. I tend to get over watches with to many design details. Same deal with Zelos.
I like the angular, faceted case, the bracelet and end-links but the thickness and general size are too big for me. I just don't need a GMT either so this isn't for me.
The 7 on the inner bezel is upside down xD
Really nice, shame it isn't smaller

A bit illegible imho. Still preffer my own build with 62mas homage with nh34a movement.

I'd agree. It's interesting, but not attractive.
Looks ugly unfortunately.
They should make Hexmariner GMT. Not this weird design.
Save up and buy a nicer watch 👍
No!
That’s coyote ugly.
I threw up in my mouth.
Kinda stupid design for a GMT, a divers bezel? Again a "make me laugh" review!
It’s definitely the ugliest watch I have ever seen
