Great Erik! It worked for me with floor plans but not with elevations or sections. It says "No ViewPlans were found on the sheet". Is this possible? Thank you so much for sharing your work!
I made it work only for FloorPlans/CeilingPlans/StructuralPlans/AreaPlans... These plans are always possible to align to each other, so each point will be in the same possition. The problem with Sections and elevations that they can be placed with different orientation and if you have tiny section on 1 sheet, and massive elevation on the other I can only align it by using center point of a viewport and it does not make sense to me. It will be better to place it manually.
@@ErikFrits Hi Erik! Does the logic applies for Detail Views? I am trying to Sheet a Callout/Detail View From a Extracted from a Floor Plan, I also get the same error/message above. Your response is most helpful. Thank you!
There is a tickbox: overlap multiple ViewPlans, but they have to be with the same scale. This way you can have FloorPlan + CeilingPlan + any other plans to overlay on top of each other. But ensure scale is the same
Hi, this video is about aligning viewports, so I am confused about your print question . Print time depends on ammount of elements displayed on your sheet + graphic and print settings. Shadows and lot's of elements 'behind' might be a major cause. Start there and try different settings I can"t really help without seeing the model.
Life saver.
🙌
can we expect for R25?
Yes, but I have to finish my course first
Great tool! any way to align view titles?
There is a way, but it's a bit too tricky so I didn't include that one.

is there a way to align the overlayed viewport ? it takes a bit time to align them to be honest

does this work across multiple projects?
No,
but if you know python and Revit API you could make some changes to the script (It's open-source).
