Sir what if the seller changes the product quality after the clean report and ship it to us. How can we owercome this problem, until the product comes to our door step clean.
Hello, it’s possible but highly unlikely because the inspector is usually there when the boxes are sealed so the supplier can’t switch the products. It is important that you include this stipulation in your pre shipment inspection request. Hope this helps.
Thanks for watching! I'm glad you enjoyed. Build a house, I like that. So much of the internet these days is filled with get-rick-quick schemes and courses. No one wants their house built "quick". A good foundation, carefully built, good materials and attention to the detail. Build your business in the same way and it stands a much better chance of surviving the storms that will inevitably come. All the best.
Sir Alan, are LC still relevant? More and more we are trading on open account terms, you can briefly touch upon Factoring, forfaiting.. LCs are getting increasingly expensive for intermediaries doing "back to back" trades. Great content as always
Thanks for your comment Matogable, I will do a small RUclips video on factoring and forfaiting and advise you when it is released. Hopefully next week, so keep an eye for it. Thanks again.
Alan Sir, hi. Thanks for posting this informative video. How do I get more info about BL conditions as i have seen many BLs with CY/CY condition. However, it came to my knowledge that there is Free in/free out BL which helps in paying port THC directly instead of paying too high THC charged by Lines. I am keen to further study this aspect but not able to locate the right source
Thank you for your comment. We do have an online course on Import Export Documentation and Procedures but it does not address Free In/Free Out or THC. Our next RUclips video will however will touch on these, so please keep an eye out for this.
Another subject is what all is covered in Ocean Freight. I mean all the deliverables by shipping lines as they charge under so many heads that really confuse the Exporters
Hi Jojo, yes I’m sorry about that. I’m not very good technically and there appears to be a delay which I didn’t realise as I was recording. I know it’s distracting but hope the video content still offers some good practical knowledge. I will reply to your other question about like-for-like shipping quotations soon. It’s been a busy week.
Thank you sir,I love your presentation from Ethiopia.
Hi Solomon, thank you very much for your kind comment and I’m glad the video helped you.

Hi Prashant, thanks for the suggestion. I'll plan a video on this in the near future and let you know.
Not sure if it's my browser, but the video is lagging the audio on this by several seconds
