  • This is the new Phoenix, a single person entry level craft designed to be simple to build and fly. As shown here, the Phoenix is a blast to fly with just a 13 horsepower engine, but for added speed, it can accommodate a 23-27 horsepower V-twin engine as well. We're currently turning the Phoenix into a simple quick-build kit which will consist of a molded hull and thrust duct, foam flotation core, engine reduction drive, rudders, and skirt templates. Hello. I ran a hovercraft program and sold a craft builder's kit called the Sevtec Scout, also with the 13hp engine. It was great fun for two. I basically aged out for this was some decades ago,I am now 82.

Is that single 13 horse power engine providing both lift and propulsion? Overall, it looks awesome by the way.

Thanks! Yes, the 13 hp engine powers both lift and thrust (about 1/3 of the air is directed into the cushion)
