I’ve got the feeling this killer is not going to be like the others at all, so Sydney and Gale are going to get completely caught out by the killed because it won’t have two killers, Ghostface isn’t wasting time monologuing, and they’ve read her books and the case files so will know what she expects.
We also need to appreciate how almost 30 years later through seven movies and a TV series the subtle tweaks that Roger Jackson makes to each Ghostface voice. He really is the glue of this franchise.

Hearing Sidney angrily scream “Where’s my daughter?” feels so emotional. It’s a full circle moment for the character. She’s there to protect her daughter in the way that Maureen wasn’t there to protect her.

So here’s my theory!
(THIS IS NOT A SPOILER) because I don’t have the facts, this is just me connecting some dots as a fan of this franchise.
So Stu is back, I’m assuming/sure as a killer, usually multiple killers in almost all movies, BUT, let’s remember that Stu also has an older sister named Leslie Macher who has NEVER been shown to any movie but has been talked about back in 1996 Scream, I’m pointing this sister to be Sidney’s neighbor (Anna Camp), (who not better than her for Stu to be close to Sidney), anyways, Stu’s sister (posssibly Sidney’s neighbor Anna Camp) can easily come for revenge because she had a son, who was killed by ghostface on Scream 5, back in 2022, Vince Schneider, this is the guy that got killed from a stab to the neck after the bar when ghost face turned his car’s headlights behind the bar, so Stu and his sister can come together to revenge Stu’s nephew.
Also, with Sidney history, who would want to be her neighbor.
There we have it. I’m screenshotting this and will come back to this when movie is out to see if I’m right, or wrong. 😂🫡👍🏼

Too bad there will be a time jump in this film considering her daughter is around 17/18 so this film will take place in 2030 and they won’t even be able to celebrate a 30 yr anniversary in the actual film. Scream 4 released back in 2011 and Sidney was never pregnant so the timeline won’t add up.

Funny how horror movies keep repeating the same story masks, fear, and people pretending not to see what’s right in front of them. It’s almost like they’re teaching us to get comfortable with the idea of being hunted. When I read Scorched Manifest Rules, it hit me that fear isn’t the weapon it’s the conditioning. Maybe the real scream isn’t in the movie… it’s the silence of people who stopped questioning.

I also think that his sister can be the killer that is my second option. The only reason why that I have the tiniest bit of hope for him being alive is because of Wes Cravens Scream 3 original idea where he would be running it behind bars that only got cancelled because of the columbine massacre. So there is always a way that he could be alive just severally disfigured like Wes Craven always planned.

Everyone it talking about stus voice at the end, but the big tell for me is when ghostface said "reminds me of where we grew up", that means ghostface is someone from her past that knew her as a child or teen. Unless the killer is girl #3 from the og who had 3 seconds of screen time
