Got a similar power stript (made by APC), it improved a lot on my Mojo. Then I decided to buy 2 more. Having 2 in series, improved the sound. Having 3 in series, improved even more. Optical still sounded better so I decided to stay on optical. Even $10 speakers I had pluggen in the monitor's 3.5 jack sounded better even if the sound comes from DisplayPort. Basically anything connected to such power strip, improved sound. In the future I will buy a big EMI filter (around $150) and manually add it to a power cable to clean everything. It cleans noise from 10khz (-20dB), 1 Mhz (-100dB) and up to 40 Mhz (-50dB). To clean up above 40 Mhz (RFI) and going to 3Ghz, the cheapest costs $500.
How does this product compare to the PS Audio Noise Harvester? I’ve had a few NH’s lying around for years and don’t know if it’s worth getting a few of the iPurifier’s..
I'm very skeptical about the PS Audio Noise Harvester. This iFi one does real time filtering whereas I doubt it's possible to actually store up the noice like the Noise Harvester claims.
Mediahound Agreed. I checked the PS Audio forums and even there noise harvesters don’t seem to have the best reputation. I went with the iPurifier’s so thanks for the recommendation!
I'd love to hear a comparison between this and High Fidelity Cables' MC-0.5 Magnetic Wave Guide. I've heard significant improvements with them, even when using a high-end power conditioner (with AC powered electronics, of course).
I'd also like to see you do a review of the Bybee iQSE or QSE. There's probably no space inside your Chord Hugo TT but a couple QSE (external model) could sit on top of it. The effect on each component and/or system may differ but from what I've heard on two systems, instruments became more resolving, 3-dimensional, and visceral while the soundstage expanded. Simply magical what they do in a high-end system.
Nice vid thanx. Bro, were u xtra nervous or just hitting a bit hard on the coke? EZ ok? Its thanx 2 u I bought my Utopias for $3k same place u did. I love em. Anyway, I love the iFi products and will def check this one out. Thanks again!
I generally agree with your sentiment--and I am not claiming that this works--but this does claim scientifically measurable benefits (unlike the noon-stones). I would like to see a review where real-world measurements were taken in addition to statement of perceived differences in sound. I was glad to find this review though, as it seems to be one of the only ones out there.
Mathematics and physics are snake oil huh? So funny to read comments like this. Have you tried it? Sure some things exists that do nothing or have no sonic impact. However there are companies and products that bring innovative and beneficial technologies to the hobbies we love.
I bet when you wrote this, you never had one nor look at its electronic claims. Mains conditioning is used from pro audio to laboratory and medical equipment. Law of diminishing returns for some setups for sure but to call it 'snake oil' offhand is in itself not objective. I saw firsthand over 13years ago what a simple Tacima 6way do for my flatscreen image in one house. It makes no difference in my new house. Fact is the new house has had a modern rewire and my new TV has better inbuilt mains conditioners.
Can I also plug this to power conditioner?

did you test the difference?

Would it be bad to show and demonstrate the difference of having the iFi, instead of commenting verbally?

thanks for the review
this thing is total bull sh*t, did nothing to my system
These kind of snake-oil products is just awful. Don't forget to combine with moon-stones.

Just another jealous guy with a crap setup😂
Probably won't help your Alba stereo much, granted.
