Said they used to tell people to do chest compressions to either the beat of Staying Alive or Another One Beats the Dust... but then with the update Staying Alive was found to now be too slow and Dust is the only option 😨 They recommended we not sing out loud
If you are too fast, isn't there the increasing risk you don't allow the chest to rise again AND not reaching the needed 2 inches aka the compresssions becoming too shallow to really get the blood flow around, increasing the risk of clots to form that get pumped out with the next deep compression ? (I learned for an untrained person) to better do 90 compresssions correct and deep enough, than 110 that are shallow and too fast to let the chest rise and the heart "relax" - for the lack of a better term (this is not my first language) - before compressing the chest again. Also - for people not perfectly trained - better do it not a 100 % correct, before doing NOTHING OUT OF FEAR TO DO IT WRONG ! IF YOU DO NOTHING, THE PERSON WILL DIE. IF YOU DO IT NOT PERFECT, HE/ SHE AT LEAST HAS A MUCH BERTER CHANCE ! AND AT LAST : ALWAYS PUT THE PATIENT ON THE FLOOR, NEVER DO IT ON A BOXSPRING BED WITH A DEEP / SOFT MATRESS ! YOU WILL JUST PRESS THE MATTRESS! ON THE FLOOR, NO PILLOWS AND USE YOUR BODY WEIGHT , BASICALLY LEAN OVER THE PATIENT WHEN YOU DO COMPRESSIONS, SO YOU WON'T GET EXHAUSTED THAT FAST! One way to interpret the question is what's the _initial_ cause of you getting hiccups, ie. what is it that starts it. The other way to interpret it is what's the physical mechanism for that "hiccup" reaction that your body makes at regular intervals (when you "have hiccups"), ie. what muscles cause those movements etc. The question is ambiguous, and most people would interpret it as meaning the former, but you chose the latter meaning. Which makes it a trick question.

I learn in school that hiccups were a left over reaction to trying to use your gills. I have no clue if this is true, but that’s how I remember it.

ideally, you should only put a small "drop" or pea-sized amount (if you're into spice) MIXED into soy sauce. and that would be enough for an entire meal. with the amount that you ate, you could literally use a hundred meals. that's why real wasabi is very expensive and is meant to be used like that. it is very POTENT. the fact that you consumed this much is alarming. lol
In this tube is only 2% wasabi. Actually it has nothing in common with real freshly grated wasabi.
Physicist here. Actually, a pound of feathers and a pound of gold would weigh the same only in a complete vacuum. If there's anything else around, even as light as air, then a pound of gold would weigh ever so slightly more than a pound of feathers, because the latter takes up more volume and, thus, experiences a larger buoyancy force.
So this trick question is actually a double bluff ;)
UPD: a lot of people in the comments pointed out that in the empirial system, the gold pound and the feather pound are actually different units. I didn't know that, because I only know the metric system. Just replace pound by kilogram in the above explanation and the argument will hold.

Feathers are measured in pound averdupois which is 453 grams and gold in pound troy which is 373 grams. Consequently, pound of feathers is heavier than pound of gold. However, an ounce of gold is heavier than an ounce of feathers. Magic of the imperial system.
