ironically, as an artist, it doesn't feel sad at all. from the color scheme to the way he drew the skull, it's feels more so jazzy(?), energetic, excited, and vibrant. like his usage of pink to block out the purple looks like he's pushing away negativity or despite the darkness he alone remains radiant. the eyes are also shaped similarly to hearts, which i don't think was on purpose, but added an effect to it. it's chaos but like an unending chaos that he enjoys idk.
It's so sad that The8 hasn't got a partner but the positive thing is that thanks to his creativity he has the chance to do/draw what he wanted to do like express himself/his feelings 😀

At the end I really like the drawing of The8 and Hoshi. And I was so surprised because when Hoshi’s drawing revealed it’s really look like Vernon. His face and Eye lashes was very like copied. And For The8 his drawing was a little bit messy if you staring but it has a deeply meaning.

minghao has such a deep soul and heart. i can't tell what's going on in his mind but i think I relate to him in a spiritual level. and that's the same for mingyu too his reactions are always similar to mine . but personally i liked hoshi's drawing of vernon the most. it looks like an anime version of him, and it suits to him so much. and when they did the "five minute draws" i thought about mine experiences in the art classes, we did that so many times and it's the hardest thing in drawing. well i wasn't surprised when minghao drew the labyrinth from mingyu's back. he always sees things that nobody else does. anyway i love all of them so much. 💝💞💝
I've been inclined to arts since I was 4 and I'm not that really great, but I love how all the members did art on their own way, they have different art styles and they put their own twist on their work, they have different perspectives resulting to different interpretations on their arts. And I just want to say that I'll be glad to get bankrupt to buy Minghao's artwork. My interpretation of Hao's art is that it's all chaotic, the skull represents him, shows that all is bare and what matters is what you're made up of, what's your real color, what's the real you, and that's what the colors on the brain part of the skull represents, like how the color inside the skull contrasts the colors outside, that it means no matter ho chaotic the outside is you shouldn't let it get inside you and affect your real colors. It's not really sad but it's rather a very creative way on how to say that no matter how chaotic the world are, don't let it shake you and change the real you.
Unrelated to the fact that this episode was hilarious and super cute and fun, I just want to let out the inner art nerd in me and just express my joy at the fact that when they were picking teams at the beginning of the episode, one of the teams was named after Angelika Kauffmann, who was an amazing painter and one of the few female historical painters whose work is actually well-documented and well-known, and idk it just makes me happy to see that her legacy was taken into account while planning this. OK now we're gonna talk about Seventeen being a hilarious group because these guys are literally part-time comedians. Plus their outfits in this were SUPER CUTE!
