Things I've learned watching this series:
- Rargh always goes melee
- 90% chance Link is fuming

I don’t think speed over accuracy means much when they are this tanky. Rargh should have gone with the rune battle axe as a main hand.

Do this again but instead of swapping loot, you keep the loot but you steal opponent items based on the inventory layout random like Row X, Column Y

Rargh coming in with the misplay of not comparing weapon stats. Rune Battleaxe is better in litteraly every way, except for speed. you gotta go for damage and accuracy in these fights!

I think the same concept but if the last spin was just bosses (zulrah, vorkath, KBD, KQ, etc) that might also be a good twist.
You have 1 hour to assemble a set of gear visible on your player model (no rings), and three weapons. You can use anything from your bank, trade with other players, use shops, etc, but no GE. However, at the end of that hour, your opponent has one shot at guessing the full name of each item as you put it on, and you will lose each item they guess correctly.
It becomes a game of choosing the most obscure items you can with the best combat bonuses you can get.
Already wrote this in stream, but will write it again, cuz you said it was an interesting idea.
Randomize the regions of Glienor. 6 regions for all gear slots excluding cape, arrows, glove, boots, ring slots. 5 if you want to leave space for 2h weapon or 1 miss on the slots.
Kill any monsters you want there until you get a gear piece you don't already own, and you have to use it in the final fight.
Then go to the next region and repeat until you collect all the gear pieces.
If you get a ranged item, you could use steel or whatever quality arrows/bolts.
For food, take whatever you want.
Love the idea of the spinning fortune to this series! It does prove that you listen to the comments, plus it gives this feeling of "Back to basics" where you pull content from older videos, which is often pretty awesome, like this one! :D

Would take ages to film. Have you been watching his 2005 series? Been there for weeks trying to get sets.
New PVP challenge idea: each person gets one hour taking donations from their supporters. At the end you buy whatever gear you want (could add twist no GE, only buy from players etc.) loser could have to payback the winners donators or something fun. You guys always do budget battles so it might be fun to see a higher risk fight with higher tier gear.

Rune battle axe would have probably been better. The accuracy on that dagger was non-existant.

Sick episode, but would love to see the ante upped. A boss wheel, with 100-150-200 kills on the bosses, and then swap loot and fight with it, that'd be sick as to watch

Those banshees were hitting Rargh because like bloodvelds their attacks are a magic based melee attack.
Challenge Idea: Gear for yourself, at the end - draw random numbers from the others inventory and you swap that slot. once you swap them the other cannot pick it to take it back.
Swap 5-14 items to keep it interesting =] If you have empty slots, that is a bonus for you :)

Link didn't give some airs and a battlestaff to rargh, I know it is not intentional. I just wanted to say that the result of a challenge like this can get influenced by those kind of mistakes, didn't actually like it.

The final gear from Rargh was just so slightly off. I think he really had a better setup sitting in the bank since he knew his opponent was in Mithril. If Link had decided to go for a Chainbody to try and counter the rune baxe, I think the DD would've really shredded him. The slower speed is probably worthwhile if you're just hammering straight through the tiny Mithril armor. The Dlegs definitely dumped a ton of stats on Link, but I still think the baxe was the choice for a mainhand weapon. There's a reason people don't mainhand DDs.
I think Rargh went too hard on thinking that Link was going to mage him. He just didn't optimize for the potential of being bashed out instead. I know it's kind of a surprising choice, but the STR bonus on that staff is nuts and it's probably worth the extra food to not take up like 2-3 slots on runes. Man. I honestly think a 2 shark gap was close enough that slightly better gear choice might have done it.

I think you should up the options in your challenges where;Pure ess should = runes, coins you can buy from shops which opens up things like crossbows etc, herbs should = corresponding potion, and other things like that.
Do the same concept but with bosses please! would be awesome to see! Great content guys!

I have a suggestions, You do a "we do X and then we fight," but before you reveal any items at all, you are both allowed to steal 1 item slot of your choosing.
Adamant chain body and using the rune battle axe with dagger spec switch would’ve won the fight 10/10

Craft for 1 hour, then fight.
You have to get all the raw materials yourself that can be from literally anywhere, if you don't have the skill requirement go to the locations where you would have to craft then after the hour get the item from the GE.

you should do a battle where you go on the ge for each in slot item and use a random letter generator for two letters, for ex you are getting the helmet and 'RG' are the two letters that you rolled so you would look in the ge for the first helmet in the list of items with RG in the ge, it would be a serpentine helmet (uncharged). might want to use the duel arena rather than wildy

Rargh: 157 crush defence, (dragon dagger 16.66 dps 40 stab attack)
(could have had 163 crush with an addy chain)
