I always hate seeing those clickbait videos people make titled “HOW TO MAKE V6 SOUND LIKE A HEMI!!” Or “HOW TO MAKE YOUR V6 CHARGER LOUD!!” No matter what you do a V6 will NOT sound like a V8 and people don’t wanna grasp that fact. Also lots of people think making the car annoyingly loud and raspy sounds good and it just sounds like garbage. The rear muffler delete to me just sounds way cleaner and not annoying so I’m with you on that bro.
Hell yeah brotha I agree . I’ve owned several v8s currently I have a hellcat and there is no comparison . But not for nothin , the v6 pentastar does sound good when opened up , drone is a little annoying but ima gear head so I’m used to it as I’ve had all my v8s straight piped . It is a good sounding v6 overall reminds me of a gtr engine sound
Yo bro I got my exhaust done a few months ago, I got a rear muffler delete and replaced the mid resonator with some dynomax bullets and it sounds phenomenal it has a deep tone like a v8 and at a high rpm it pops like crazy

yeah man you should go with the vibrant resonator or big boz 4 im running the vibrant resonator you can go to my account and look at the video of it but trust me i love the vibrant resonator every time i turn on my car it makes me smile but the bog boz 4 are a lil more louder bc the vibrant resonators remove all the rasp but put sum 5 inc tips bc i have drone
@@GabrielaRodriguez-sh2ps in this video I just deleted the rear muffler/resonator at my local meineke . They do that kinda stuff all the time . You can go to any exhaust shop and they will know what to do
I’ve done same research and came to similar conclusions. You have to ditch the OEM rear mufflers for sure and with go with the stock resonators or replace them with something that suits you in place of them. I just got my GT this past Friday and the exhaust is top priority. Good vid.

I came to the conclusion that no mid muffler /resonator sound like crap. I decided that the value of someone else engineering it all was worth the costs. I installed it myself on my friends lift in 2-3 hrs.

I bought a 22 sxt v6 I deleted the y pipe install two mid mufflers then straight pipe out, but the 2.5 inch pipe is raspy, need 3in or 3.5 size pipe sounds just like v8. Bigger pipes makes it work..
Fun fact I bought 5 inch carvin tips spent about $250 on them went to the muffler shop today they wanted to charge me $500 to cut my rear resonators and install the new tips. I walked out no chance I'm paying that found another place that said they will do it for 250.
@@GabrielaRodriguez-sh2ps there is the mid muffler and the rear resonator I took out the rear and kept the stock mids . Later on down the line I replaced the mids and added tips (check my other videos)

when you got your rear muffler delete done did u already have spare pipes u had already bought or did the shop you took it too supply u with piping for your exhaust? If you pre bought piping what did you go with?Im new to the whole car modding scene and i would like to get this done for my car aswell
I gotchu bro. Lemme school you . Most exhaust shops if your just deleting certain pieces likes muffler 99% use their own pipe to replace it for a simple delete . You do not need to bring your own . What diameter of pipe they use depends but typically it’s 2.5-3 inches . So if you’re doing a simple muffler/resonator delete the shop should provide the replacement pipes . Usually I just go to a meineke if that’s around ya you can use them or just google local exhaust shops and call. Now when you bring specific pieces or exhaust systems / tips, you can let the exhaust shop know that that’s what you want put in. Check out my second video about the next step in my chargers exhaust on my channel on my charger playlist . This video was the first mod I did to the exhaust and since then I’ve deleted the mid mufflers and replaced them vibrant resonators and put 5inch tips on .
@@hellcatjay89 put then in the middle and straight pipe it all the way back but yeah man ima probably get sum big boz 4 bc im currently running the vibrant resonator i love them but i kinda want them a lil more deeper since im running e85 cold air intake pedal commander and a tune .the vibrant sound nice but the big boz 4 lwky sound better,,cant wait to see that video keep up the good work man

Hey brotha thanks for the sub ! The drone is definitely noticeable and more annoying than any v8 . However I’m used to loud exhausts and it doesn’t bother me that much . You def hear it from like 2-4k rpm but then after that you hear that nice v6 sound so it makes it worth it . I also replaced my mid mufflers with a vibrant mid muffler that I bought off of Amazon to give an even better sound I’ll be posting a video that soon

@@VanaConn i did the mid muffler delete. With the pipes they put on to replace the mids I might swap them for a performance muffler soon

you should remove the resonators and put 2 big boz 4 or 2 vibrant resonaters and put 5 inch tips and a cold air intake trust it sounds really good
I did the vibrant mid mufflers just haven’t done the video yet, and yes tips too sounds great ! Haven’t done the cai yet
