rod of the depths doesnt dupe the fish you caught, it dupes the first version of the fish you caught, meaning if you get sparkly shiny mythic on a fish lets say a meg, it will give you 2 of those if you catch it with the rod of the depth passive, Aswell you can catch 3 perfect catches and then lose all the fish you catch after that until a mythic then catch that it will give you the better version of it
