OH! Victoria!!!!!! I have been wanting some banana bread, but saw this and added 2 1/2 tsp of banana extract and WOW!!!!!! Thank you for this recipe and the ideas that go with it!🥰
I just altered this recipe to make a strawberry cobbler. Husband said it was "take it to the fair" worthy and the bread part was delicious! I thawed fresh/frozen strawberries (~2 cups) and sweetened with liquid sucralose. (Use your choice of sweetener.) I poured the strawberries into a deep dish pie plate. Next, I mixed the batter as instructed in this video recipe and spooned over the strawberries. After sprinkling the top with brown sugar sweetener AND some cinnamon, I placed 1 stick of butter cubes over the top. I did NOT pour hot water like Victoria did as the thawed strawberries already had enough water. Bake until done. (My oven hugs, so I can't confirm for how long.) I used the allulose/erythritol blend and, as Victoria warns, the allulose browns quickly. Even covered with foil, the center did not get done. So, I'll eat around the edges and rebake. I must say, use your imagination to all the possibilities because this certainly was a delicious dessert!!! P.S. I can't wait to use Victoria's new Boca Sweet sweetener mix. That will probably solve the issue of dishes not getting completely cooked because of the rapid browning with allulose. Enjoy, ya'll!!
I LOVE pecans, also!! I’m from Louisiana and we HAVE pecans! My Aunt also had a pecan grove and my parents had the tallest pecan tree you’ve ever seen…my kids would scare me to death as 6 & 7 y/o’s climbing it! I will try this wonderful recipe. Thanks!
I love what you've done with the flours and recipes. Truly amazing. That said, I had just received my bag of oat bran fiber the day your new flour video came out. I don't have any interest in using the bamboo fiber yet because I still have so much of the other. My question is, am I able to make your newest recipes with the old flour? TIA
@@victoriasketokitchen Thanks fro this info - exactly what I was seeking. So maybe 150 grams of your 1st Perfected Keto Flour rather then the 120 grams used here with your 2nd Perfected Keto Flour ???? I think I will try this and see what happens.
Hi Victoria, that pecan cobbler looks so delicious YUM! I also have the 1st perfected keto flour and I need to use up all the ingredients for that first, and so I have exactly the same question as well?
@@naturalexplorer I made this using her flour recipe with oat fiber/almond flour. It turned out well, but seemed too watery while in the oven, so I would use less water next time -- about 1/2 the amount. I also may try baking pecans in the butter in the oven 10 minutes and then add ingredients on top and bake altogether, but w/the lesser amount of water. Hope that helps.
Making this today! Over Thanksgiving, I cooked 2 chayote squash as the 2 KrazyKetos recipe posted. Im going to put on top of the pecans and follow your instructions, using half the water. It'll be a Cinnamon Apple Keto Pecan Cobbler!
Can we use your other flour recipe without bamboo fiber..to make this... I'm having a hard time getting bamboo fiber in Canada.. I ordered on etsy but not to get here until September ... thank you all for your great recipes
If you’re using your newest Keto flour 2.0, what changes if any would one make??? Thank you for all the time and effort you have put into figuring out such a great flour blend, very appreciated and such a blessing🙏🏼
I made this especially for my husband since pecan desserts are his favorite, just like yours are :). It is really delicious! I used the mixture oat fiber/almond flour bc I'm still using the batch I already made. Your flour performed beautifully! It was thrilling to see it easily mix as a dough, rise & bake, and then taste. Hubby definitely approves. I served it with home made keto butter pecan ice cream. One thing I may try differently is baking pecans first maybe 10 minutes in the melted butter, then add the other ingredients, but about 1/2 the water. I would like the pecans to have some crunch. Your thoughts? Either way, I'll definitely be making this again! TY for the recipe!
Pecans? Thank you again, lovely Miss Victoria! 🥰
Not really dealing with this recipe, plan on making it soon!!!! Question is how much bamboo fiber to use IN PLACE of oat fiber? Input would be greatly appreciated!
Victoria, can you please tell me where are you order your extracts? I need to order some and I don’t know what brand to get. For instance, I want to get some banana extract, potato, corn, birthday cake, etc. thank you in advance.🙏❤️
So, you used the first (Pecan flour) version? Do you think it would "work" as well (taste wise) if you used the almond flour version? Also, you have said your flour mix is a one:one replacement for all-purpose flour, so why do you keep mentioning what the weight of the flour is that you used in the recipe? This is very confusing. Should we go by volume OR by weight? BTW - it DOES look yummy. 😋
I have to ask about the erythritol which I hate, it recrystalizes and has a cooling effect I hate. Do you notice the cooling effect with this blend. I know some people don't but I don't like it for that reason
I check for pecan flour every time you post a new recipe. It’s always “currently unavailable”. Can you post the alternate link that you use when Amazon cannot provide it. Thanks
Me, too. My first loaf made with almond flour, not pecan flour, didn’t rise like Victoria’s did. I have some of her original new flour left, so I hate to waste, so I’m going to mix them together and, hopefully, have a better tasting, risen loaf! I will try to get pecan flour and try again! Good luck to both of us!
