In this episode, we briefly look at the chassis prep prior to building the box on the back. Treatment Kit - rejel.com/din01/ PPE Kit - rejel.com/pers...
Yukky stuff isn’t it! I used a reciprocating saw for all of about 5 seconds when I took the back out of my cab before deciding I would probably do myself an injury. I then reverted to my trusty angle grinder.
Did you have to add strengthening to the rear cab wall? I'm about to cut a similar doorway and from what I've read the small cross beams are not structural. Subscribed and looking forward to more instalments.
@@Just-Escapecom Sounds a plan!. Will await build with interest! My own Zeppelin FM2 is now finally >1m airborne but passengers so far finding it spartan. Ideas ongoing.
Since you're so covered up i'd thought that you would've wore goggles to protect your eyes. Whatever you don't want getting onto your clothings, hair or into your lungs, please do the same for your eyes.
Proper job Gary....be good to see it in the flesh now that the fancy paint job has been done!
Love the tunes
What is that music?
Nice prep.

Horrible bloody things aren't they. Can't go wrong with an angle grinder and good quality disk.

I've cut them out 2 years ago and suffered no problems.
Is that similar stuff to waxoyl for the internal stuff? And the external paint is the same or different?
Trusting there will be a Hobbit woodburner or similar in this build after your Mongolian Webasto issues.
No, Not this time. However, we won't be relying on a webasto either! this one has electric underfloor heating!!

Dose this material set hard or stay soft Gary
What happened to your red truck from the last trip and what are the reasons to build a smaller car?
She has been passed on to a new owner and we are building a new home. we plan on making a video explaining our reasons why soon.
Electric or hydraulic winch at the rear? nice job tho;)
Its an electric. It will be more than enough for this vehicle
@@Just-Escapecom sure, the big "pipe" were looking like hydraulic pipe;) i keep following;)
Take me in your team
