For real; goalies need more pads! Lacrosse balls are natural rubber superballs. I tried throwing with my girls stick and could only catch if I deflected the ball and caught it vertically. I bounced one up and it came down on my girlfriends head; she was sitting at a picnic table earbuds and book. She said it was the hardest she was ever hit in her head and she saw a bright flash.
Maybe this is just cause I was a d-pole when I played lacrosse, but I'm always more of a fan of seeing big hits or good defensive plays when watching highlights, not just goals, as cool as those can be.
Lax is probably one of the hardest sports to master and it cost a lot of money for equipment. Once you do get a stick and gear practice with and get down the basics like catching, cradling, and throwing. Play wall ball or throw with someone else. Make sure you work in your pocket and your left or non dominant arm.
That’s what im wondering. I would say the skies the limit as long as you have full belief in yourself to succeed. You must work harder than you ever have however
you can run as much as you want with the ball? I guess if you are super quick guy you will just dominate then? Still require skills and you can get tackled, but in like High school speed must help alot
The final block was phenomenal. My daughter started playing lacrosse, so I'm learning.
