Gives me “the thing” vibes. Another great video team
This looks fun
I would've liked more info on the narrative aspect, but if it's too spoilery, then I understand. Beyond that, I'm glad you showcased much of the ACTUAL gameplay animation. That's a bit of a weird thing for me to say, but I mean, seriously, the screenshots out there (including the official trailers) do NOT do it justice, at all. The art in the screenshots (especially of the bad guys,or in this case, good guys?) are so simplistic & retro (4th-gen console levels) that I was expecting super-simplistic animations as well. You know, a la They are Billions or even Stardew Valley (which isn't necessarily a bad thing), with a couple of animation frames per actor, maximum. But when I saw how dynamic & complex & sophisticated the animations actually are, I was very surprised. It is as advanced & technically-proficient as any tech I've seen in AAA games, especially for monster characters/entities. If they were gonna "modernize" The Thing and The Blob franchises, THIS is how you do it.
If that music is from the game, thats legit.
Mechanically the game is a big fail...not engaging or fun and the lack of scrolling between areas is unforgivable.....devolver are awesome but this is not. Its a 5 all day long
FIRST!!!
