Aric Phuong Do not forget it's an anime, they usually have bad predictable endings. Also it's called "fake love" and the "fake love" is Raku and Chitoge, since they're pretending to be a couple. Also the story started with her. She was the first to appear, she was featured since the very begining as the main co-protagonist. Now Marika, Yui, Tsugumi and Haru are out of the equation, it's all just about Onodera or Chitoge. Anyway you can see it coming: Raku left Onodera at the camping to find Chitoge when she got lost, and he was thinking of Chitoge all the time when he was supposed to be practicing with Onodera for the Romeo and Juliett play. They're building it up, the story is that Raku loves Chitoge but he hasn't realized yet. In fact, Maiko has impied it a couple of times, which to me has been poorly executed but it's oviously that they're going that direction. Furthemore, the fact that they're doing a new Manga with Onodera is a consolation price, the know they created a monster and they have to at least thow a bone to her fans. Well that's what i think.
Hm. Thats an interesting speculation, but I do feel that it won't end that way just because of what the title implies or because its an name and has bad predictable ending. At least I hope the author isn't as predictable and simple-minded as that. From my stand point, it will be and ending that satisfies all, but we'll see how the anime progresses.
Not only what Raku said - she literally saved everything that Raku gave her when she was recovering according to her father. The haters say she is an obsessive and unhinged freak mooning over Raku and the defenders will say it's the only memory of a boy because of her mother and her ill health meant she treasured every moment with Raku but, bottom line, the girl is in (false) love and she's the only key girl who is going to try to make it real.
I *would* find this touching if it wasn't for the fact that Raku is never going to be with her in the end. Either he's going to be with Onodera (Which I highly doubt) or Chitoge (Most likely. Even though it makes little sense because she's not all that likeable to me) But I can safely bet that Marie is not gonna be with him. So seeing something as sweet as this kinda sucks, cuz she's doing all this for nothing in the end.

So this was what I was thinking before the manga finished. Marika was never in the picture. It was all along Onodera and Chitoge. Raku has just to decide whether it is Onodera or Chitoge. And I am 100% sure he would pick our so cliche Chitoge. Why you ask? I find it hard to see that Raku would get together with Onodera, the girl he liked. Both of them liked each other right? but they never had the courage to confess because of fear of rejection. So, I always had this law of mine that when someone likes another one but never got the chance to confess because of gutlessness then another one joined the picture then it is pretty damn sure that he will get together with the second girl. As for the reason why Marika was never in the picture, well she was introduced pretty late. The first girl introduced is usually the winner. I have never liked Chitoge and Onodera. You fucker making Marika wait. *I am seriously mad that Naoshi made a manga for Chitoge ending with Raku, Onodera's own patissiere manga, Onodera's own ending with a look a like Raku, Ryuu and Onodera's best friend ending (Nisekoi bundle) and Tsugumi look alike manga (Toki Doki) but none for Marika? You made 3/4 mangas for our heroines but NONE for Marika? Onodera , Chitoge, Tsugumi? Hell! Even Ryuu has his own ending but seriously none for Marika? What is it because you hate her? Because she has little fans? sigh...* If he is ever gonna create an alternate ending, just kill Marika off. I'd rather see her die and see Raku grieve over her death and realize that he liked her all along even though it will be a tragedy and a bad end. Personally i like Onodera more, but Marika is definitely a close second with her large quantities of genuine affection. I know Onodera eventually found someone, i hope she did as well.
I love all the girls from this anime because all the girls have different reason to love the mc and i love all the girls for very different reasons either. Example : Marika is very honest and hardworker. And I really loved her
Marika was the only one who was brave enough to show Raku affection that is sincere. She knew the past because she cherished Raku. She went against her oppressive mother because she just genuinely loved Raku all those times she was the best candidate for Raku honestly but the only reason she lost is because Raku was forced to be with Chitoge most of the time because of their acting and it made them closer to each other without that she was completely bodied by Raku having a crush on Onodera and being the promised girl and Marika's dedication to Raku. Even then Marika would still be the best candidate Chitoge was being a tsun tsun as always and guess who pushed her Marika best girl, Onodera was too shy couldn't get Raku when he was already hers, Tsugumi had no chance really (sad my favorite girl) and Yui liked Raku but Raku only saw her as an older sister.

@@PlayerBRUV Come to the flashback chapter, Chitoge is, technically, the girl who comes up with up with the idea of the marriage promise from the book first and she was buzzed with the idea of marrying that she wrote it in her journal. Also, because of the scene at the party, if it wasn't for her past decision after witnessing Kosaki and Raku when they were younger, it would have been pretty funny based on the talk they had about what would happen if Chitoge's suspicions were right.
If you find a woman who would put even a tenth of the passion marika puts into loving raku..thats a keep. This girl legit rich af yet works part time to pay for a future house. After watever many years to boot and she still loves him. Bless her with all the happiness and health in the world.

I realized this is an old video and we know the ending by now. So I just wanted to give my two cents on each girl: 1. Tsugumi: This was a very side girl route which we know will never happen. We don't see much development from raku obviously. 2. Haru: (my actualy bias) the author could somehow make this to be some kind of ending. I think she's like Chitoge which more things in common with Raku (but yea gotta accept she's another side girl) 3. Marika: Marika's hard cause while not totally a side girl, since she has a key as well, she's entered the show too late with the other relationships being developed more (and diff with Haru is her entrance isn't that memorable or something, ahem excuse my bias). Moreover, as a character, she came into Raku's life to forcefully and suddenly, which I personally don't like as much because you're liking someone based on the things they did in the past which Raku barely remembers. 4. Kosaki: Ok. From a story standpoint, overall, do I want Raku to pick Kosaki? I guess yes. They are like fated lovers who met once more. Their main plot is sweet. But honestly Kosaki deserves someone better. She shouldn't keep liking a person who continues to care for other girls given how loyal she is, and how long she's been loyal. So yea when I read the words "Will you still love me Raku" I didn't feel bad for their relationship, but for Onodera who just loved him without expecting him to. I really wished the author could find another partner for her. 5. Chitoge: Why Chitoge? They experienced the most development that's why. Raku knows her inside out and Raku always prioritizes her over every other girl. Even his "true love" Onodera. And so does Chitoge. Onodera has the long lost lover type of vibe where they feel connected without much communication (which resounds with many people who might currently be on that stage with someone they like) but Raku and Chitoge do what couples do. They fight sometimes despite good intentions (or some miscommunication), they make up and get to know each other more. And when Raku realized what he felt for Chitoge for the first time, I was taken aback because for the first time Raku realizes that this person really knows him to the detail. That feeling of being known makes you feel cared and acknowledged. More than just some first love you used to know when you're a child (Marika), a prince who realized was also charming (Haru), or a person who didn't really know why but love (kosaski). You're acknowledged for once by someone, that every minute detail, even stuff that doesn't make you interesting, cool or charming, is still important. I think that sums up Chitoge and Raku.
I'm gonna say it but most girls who are like this would be very clingy and possessive, however Marika is not crazy. She is working hard towards this insane goal, every day on nothing but the pure faith that one day it will pan out and become a reality. Not to force Raku into something he doesnt want, just to edge it along, letting him know and securing the opportunity for if it ever came to be. She isnt sitting around wasting energy, forcing a outcome, shes being proactive to it in a way that's pure and respectable. And that's what made her probably the most distinguishing out of all the other girls in this show when it was airing. Cause I didnt actually watch the show. Never have, and yet I saw this scene and it stuck out to me that much. She was too damn good for Raku, that's for sure. It's kind of heartbreaking knowing this was never gonna happen and she basically wasted her time doing this for so long. But I guess that is just life, and people move on.

Aric Phuong Do not forget it's an anime, they usually have bad predictable endings. Also it's called "fake love" and the "fake love" is Raku and Chitoge, since they're pretending to be a couple. Also the story started with her. She was the first to appear, she was featured since the very begining as the main co-protagonist.
Now Marika, Yui, Tsugumi and Haru are out of the equation, it's all just about Onodera or Chitoge.
Anyway you can see it coming: Raku left Onodera at the camping to find Chitoge when she got lost, and he was thinking of Chitoge all the time when he was supposed to be practicing with Onodera for the Romeo and Juliett play. They're building it up, the story is that Raku loves Chitoge but he hasn't realized yet. In fact, Maiko has impied it a couple of times, which to me has been poorly executed but it's oviously that they're going that direction.
Furthemore, the fact that they're doing a new Manga with Onodera is a consolation price, the know they created a monster and they have to at least thow a bone to her fans.
Well that's what i think.
Hm. Thats an interesting speculation, but I do feel that it won't end that way just because of what the title implies or because its an name and has bad predictable ending. At least I hope the author isn't as predictable and simple-minded as that. From my stand point, it will be and ending that satisfies all, but we'll see how the anime progresses.

That really was touching of Marika to save up all that money just because of what Raku said.
Not only what Raku said - she literally saved everything that Raku gave her when she was recovering according to her father. The haters say she is an obsessive and unhinged freak mooning over Raku and the defenders will say it's the only memory of a boy because of her mother and her ill health meant she treasured every moment with Raku but, bottom line, the girl is in (false) love and she's the only key girl who is going to try to make it real.
I *would* find this touching if it wasn't for the fact that Raku is never going to be with her in the end. Either he's going to be with Onodera (Which I highly doubt) or Chitoge (Most likely. Even though it makes little sense because she's not all that likeable to me) But I can safely bet that Marie is not gonna be with him. So seeing something as sweet as this kinda sucks, cuz she's doing all this for nothing in the end.

So this was what I was thinking before the manga finished.
Marika was never in the picture. It was all along Onodera and Chitoge. Raku has just to decide whether it is Onodera or Chitoge. And I am 100% sure he would pick our so cliche Chitoge. Why you ask? I find it hard to see that Raku would get together with Onodera, the girl he liked. Both of them liked each other right? but they never had the courage to confess because of fear of rejection. So, I always had this law of mine that when someone likes another one but never got the chance to confess because of gutlessness then another one joined the picture then it is pretty damn sure that he will get together with the second girl. As for the reason why Marika was never in the picture, well she was introduced pretty late. The first girl introduced is usually the winner.

Wow, I have to say. It did took the lamest and most predictable ending. Like seriously? Chitoge? Wow, simply wow. Yes, it was seriously predictable. Because by the time they said Onodera was the promised girl, it was pretty obvious who was gonna win. I mean once Chitoge knew Onodera was the promised girl, she would cry and feel sad and shit. And when that happens, Raku runs to her to say she was all along the girl he liked. Leaving the one destined for him and going with her. Well like the law I stated that when someone liked this girl then someone showed in the picture, it's pretty much sure it's the second girl. And Marika never really stood a chance. I skipped all the way to the ending because the manga was pretty much filled with fillers or made to spend time to make them realize they liked each other. Raku made Marika wait for a response for about 150 chapters. You fucker making Marika wait.
*I am seriously mad that Naoshi made a manga for Chitoge ending with Raku, Onodera's own patissiere manga, Onodera's own ending with a look a like Raku, Ryuu and Onodera's best friend ending (Nisekoi bundle) and Tsugumi look alike manga (Toki Doki) but none for Marika? You made 3/4 mangas for our heroines but NONE for Marika? Onodera , Chitoge, Tsugumi? Hell! Even Ryuu has his own ending but seriously none for Marika? What is it because you hate her? Because she has little fans? sigh...*
If he is ever gonna create an alternate ending, just kill Marika off. I'd rather see her die and see Raku grieve over her death and realize that he liked her all along even though it will be a tragedy and a bad end. Or you could continue on with the Mom problems arc and make Raku realize that he liked her all along.

Personally i like Onodera more, but Marika is definitely a close second with her large quantities of genuine affection. I know Onodera eventually found someone, i hope she did as well.

Marika was the only one who was brave enough to show Raku affection that is sincere. She knew the past because she cherished Raku. She went against her oppressive mother because she just genuinely loved Raku all those times she was the best candidate for Raku honestly but the only reason she lost is because Raku was forced to be with Chitoge most of the time because of their acting and it made them closer to each other without that she was completely bodied by Raku having a crush on Onodera and being the promised girl and Marika's dedication to Raku. Even then Marika would still be the best candidate Chitoge was being a tsun tsun as always and guess who pushed her Marika best girl, Onodera was too shy couldn't get Raku when he was already hers, Tsugumi had no chance really (sad my favorite girl) and Yui liked Raku but Raku only saw her as an older sister.

@@PlayerBRUV Come to the flashback chapter, Chitoge is, technically, the girl who comes up with up with the idea of the marriage promise from the book first and she was buzzed with the idea of marrying that she wrote it in her journal. Also, because of the scene at the party, if it wasn't for her past decision after witnessing Kosaki and Raku when they were younger, it would have been pretty funny based on the talk they had about what would happen if Chitoge's suspicions were right.
If you find a woman who would put even a tenth of the passion marika puts into loving raku..thats a keep. This girl legit rich af yet works part time to pay for a future house. After watever many years to boot and she still loves him. Bless her with all the happiness and health in the world.

I realized this is an old video and we know the ending by now. So I just wanted to give my two cents on each girl:
1. Tsugumi: This was a very side girl route which we know will never happen. We don't see much development from raku obviously.
2. Haru: (my actualy bias) the author could somehow make this to be some kind of ending. I think she's like Chitoge which more things in common with Raku (but yea gotta accept she's another side girl)
3. Marika: Marika's hard cause while not totally a side girl, since she has a key as well, she's entered the show too late with the other relationships being developed more (and diff with Haru is her entrance isn't that memorable or something, ahem excuse my bias). Moreover, as a character, she came into Raku's life to forcefully and suddenly, which I personally don't like as much because you're liking someone based on the things they did in the past which Raku barely remembers.
4. Kosaki: Ok. From a story standpoint, overall, do I want Raku to pick Kosaki? I guess yes. They are like fated lovers who met once more. Their main plot is sweet. But honestly Kosaki deserves someone better. She shouldn't keep liking a person who continues to care for other girls given how loyal she is, and how long she's been loyal. So yea when I read the words "Will you still love me Raku" I didn't feel bad for their relationship, but for Onodera who just loved him without expecting him to. I really wished the author could find another partner for her.
5. Chitoge: Why Chitoge? They experienced the most development that's why. Raku knows her inside out and Raku always prioritizes her over every other girl. Even his "true love" Onodera. And so does Chitoge. Onodera has the long lost lover type of vibe where they feel connected without much communication (which resounds with many people who might currently be on that stage with someone they like) but Raku and Chitoge do what couples do. They fight sometimes despite good intentions (or some miscommunication), they make up and get to know each other more. And when Raku realized what he felt for Chitoge for the first time, I was taken aback because for the first time Raku realizes that this person really knows him to the detail. That feeling of being known makes you feel cared and acknowledged. More than just some first love you used to know when you're a child (Marika), a prince who realized was also charming (Haru), or a person who didn't really know why but love (kosaski). You're acknowledged for once by someone, that every minute detail, even stuff that doesn't make you interesting, cool or charming, is still important. I think that sums up Chitoge and Raku.
Marika's consistency, boldness and efforts make her the most deserving of Raku.
Nisekoi was so well done and i without any hesitation am willing to put in on the podium.....
I'm gonna say it but most girls who are like this would be very clingy and possessive, however Marika is not crazy. She is working hard towards this insane goal, every day on nothing but the pure faith that one day it will pan out and become a reality. Not to force Raku into something he doesnt want, just to edge it along, letting him know and securing the opportunity for if it ever came to be. She isnt sitting around wasting energy, forcing a outcome, shes being proactive to it in a way that's pure and respectable. And that's what made her probably the most distinguishing out of all the other girls in this show when it was airing. Cause I didnt actually watch the show. Never have, and yet I saw this scene and it stuck out to me that much.
She was too damn good for Raku, that's for sure. It's kind of heartbreaking knowing this was never gonna happen and she basically wasted her time doing this for so long. But I guess that is just life, and people move on.
