Thanks for the great coverage, commentary and for the launch SOUND! Always amazing to see a Launch, and the Atlas V on this configuration just JUMPS out of the pad, amazing acceleration!
Did wake up in time to watch live but will be a great way to start my day
@@DiZZoLabs You too and have the best day possible.
So was this rocket launch announced? Because I’ve been watching the Kennedy space Center launch schedule. I see it listed under that thread but with no date. Or am I looking at the wrong rocket to be launched on that thread? I don’t live far from Kennedy space Center about 4 1/2 hours. I keep trying to go down to see a rocket launch and missing them constantly. Lol
Such an awesome sound, the best part of these streams compared to the official streams, along with the more fun commentary, is the launch audio, just spectacular compared to what ULA and NASA offers, or any other rocket launches except perhaps Rocket Lab's, thank you guys for the work put in to cover these launches.
Liftoff is just after 1:59:30
2:02:35 I think there was a very brief aurora, but not a full "jellyfish effect"
Some other cameras did get it on Twitter
I know all the residents around Canaveral are loving the fact that launches are just going off like crazy again just like in the old days
every launch holds, NSF teams tell us episodes of space program. it's like a extension of NSF live. what a great show. TY
Amazing sound 😊
Interesting launch.
ULA has the best coms of any launch company, I love it!
wow no wonder ur named a dummy lmfao liking these crooks who have robbed NASA blind for years
@@badtrekee4348 lmao you SpaceX fanboy.
@@dummyjoe7895 Rather be a fanboy then a dummy HAHAHA
@@badtrekee4348 nah. fanboys know nothing but SpaceX. All they do is think they know everything when they don’t. So that means you are irrelevant to me.
@@dummyjoe7895 Yeah they know how to launch Astronauts to the space station while boeing dont. They also know how to land first stages while ULA doesmt. They are also smart enough to know how build new technology unlike that dinosaur that Boeing still cant get right. aka the SLS scam. They forgot how to launch the Space shuttle without the shuttle lmfao Best of all they aint scumbags who love robbing NASA blind or bribe Polititions like ULA does and has been accussed of in the past
FWIW - Autoclave is a pressure oven that uses pressure and heat to form and cure composite materials
Nice!
I just saw this in the sky without knowing what it was and it scared the shit out of me. I'm happy I figured out what it is.
Great camera work!
Miss the cameras and and technical details from the flight - Ride on Spacex !!

Did you notice that it started pitching just after 5 seconds? 1:59:35 Why is that?
I love watching these, but I have to admit... I'm spoiled on SpaceX landing the boosters as well. (Not booster, first stage, but whatever.)
Wow STP 3 now, I worked on STP 1 sat....congrats!
@PiratessAlyx hit me up, I want us to work on something
You gotta admit watching the computer animation of the rocket, it is not as fun as an actual GoPro camera on it
I set my phone and ⏰ was just in time. 😃👍
If Jack is going to launch "Cool Sat" with glass it should have cameras behind them so you get a stereoscopic view in outerspace
deal
What's a powerful voice of the rocket engine!!!
🙏🙏
Never gets old!
Would it be possible for you guys to do a series of interviews, with the various space program companies, to give us some insight into the broader space picture.
They do, every few months on the weekend NSF Live shows.
Check out the site archive for previous interviews.
@@kitt44kt Thank you.
Good job there, but no reusable rocket , it also uses a Russian engine . We hope to see those two things changed.
The Russian's made some damn good engines.
This rocket has been flying long before F9. It was never designed to be reused and was build under “expendable launch vehicle contract”. Also the Russian engines are some of the best reliable engines out there
Vulcan, the replacement for Atlas V, will use USA-made engines, and ULA plans to incorporate engine reusability with it too.
@@originalmin The boosters are made in Utah.
Cant you guys get your cameras closer?
So was this rocket just brought to the pad unannounced whatsoever? Because I’ve been keeping my eye on it at the Kennedy space Center launch announcement thread. I never read on that thread that it was going to be launched. Maybe they slid it in there so fast I just didn’t even see it?
Like the Fallout 4 intro.

rev up your loudspeaker and deepen relationship with your neighbours
when are you retiring Falcon 9 family and replacing it with Starship
That is SpaceX, not ULA.
Glory to CCPP
No reason to recover the boosters? What about the damage the fuel residue and the boosters themselves polluting the ocean? Technology is good enough these days to get them back so as not to mess up our planet anymore than necessary, I love this stuff but we need to be better, much better!
No ULA doesn’t recover the boosters because they use everything they need on the mission. And landing rockets have only been a thing for about ~6 years. Not everyone needs to recover boosters nor is it possible to do so.
First stage reuse is a very, very new development in terms of orbital rocketry, unless you include the STS SRBs, which aren’t really comparable to an Atlas V CCB. SpaceX landed it’s first Falcon 9 only 6 years ago. The Atlas V has been flying for 19 years.
ULA launches are so lame. They don't put cameras on anything.
They have many more cameras than what is made public.
Sometimes you see some more a few hours after the live event.
This is a direct to geostationary orbit! How cool is that?
ULA can’t always show cameras because of the classified nature of the mission. I would get some knowledge before speaking.
Very boring launch if u compare w space x Falcon 9 . This system is still pretty much stone aged old tech.
Still works well for being stone aged tech
ULA launches and their coms are so much better then SpaceX. SpaceX has no coms and is very boring.
