if it stays this good and the fighting is successful plus technology upgrades them this game has so much potential
it is ridiculousty insane what they're promising to deliver in this game, if successful it will be 2 genres in one game which is bloody insane.

The key is to get atleast 3 more Oxen then your logistics kicks into overdrive.

Love what this game is looking like. But man you really have to plan things out. With only one ox to start out you really need to be careful where you place things (like putting the fire cutter pretty close to the logging camp so the ox trip doesn't take a long time).
Yeah i do hope they add ponds and rivers to fish and use as defence's and and build bridges.

you can build a trading post, sell pelts from hunted animals (you never run low on those) and use that initial money to upgrade houses for chicken and goats. no need to use tools for those improvements

Just found your channel and was more than happy to subscribe. Great personality and excited to see some more gameplay!
Played it a bit myself, I feel the missions need some work, it doesn't really let you know what you need to make, to upgrade your houses, and when the 3rd mission comes you get soft locked, i think what you need is stuck behind the tech tree, but its a demo, so thats to be expected.
But overall I'm very impressed with how the game has gone, its on my wish list and I can tell its going to devour all my time when the release drops
After you build the Manor you can still play but there isnt any more content
Tip just think out loud it the wind mill probably has a production boost cuz its powered by wind and you putting it on the top of the mountain gave it a boost cuz it's higher off the ground so if you put it low low then it might have a production debuff so but idk just a guess

i dont understand why multi-million dollar companies cant make games this good, weather its racing, free roam, or city building its always the people who make a game on their own or modders that do it better

vegetable plots in the gardens largely solved that for me, they only require the wife of the family to work and they produce loads of carrots

This game looks fantastic. I hope that one thing they can do would be to incorporate world maps. Perhaps Bohemia or Yorkshire... you start the game at the year the town was established and lets say Prague exists.. or even you are to build Prague, have to fight off historical invaders and bandits.

Graphically and visually it looks amazing but content wise I feel it’s along way off, after all it’s an indie game with one developer. I hope the hype doesn’t raise expectations too high for this.
I like to believe the developer was so upset with the unfinished work that was dawn of man and out of pure anger made this.

My boyfriend loves those kind of games! I never played strategic building games, they always look so overwhelming and complicated but in this game the UI looks realy simple and easy to understand :) love it!
This looks incredible just downloaded it, do we know what the situation is about the save function? It isn't n issue for first starters but I assume once you know the ins an out you'll want to get a proper city going which will take hours.
The save feature isn’t there for the demo bc you can only get so far anyways can’t build a manor house so can’t get your first troop. It’s basically just to get the extreme basics down.
What are the disadvantages to not introducing faith?

I tried building a wall and a bailey. After I gave the order for the wall suddenly every tree within was gone and I also couldn't build anything anymore aside from the gate and the bailey attached to the not yet constructed wall. I also couldn't connect the bailey to any roads. Shortly after more than half of my population died since all the wood in my town was gone and I ran out of firewood very quickly.
reminds me alot of Ostriv but set in western europe instead

I think you hunters stopped working bc you restricted their workspace to one herd of deer that only had 20 left while not hunting the other herd.

The problem with the 2nd lot of houses was a node got skipped. It looked to me like plots need you to click & place all 4 corners. In the troublesome plot, you traced around the corner of the road but never dropped the 3rd node to form the edge of the plot.

apperantly its the quests i played lots of building games and i had 255-275 influence and all of a sudden i had to pay tax even with less people but couldnt build the tax collector for some odd reason it was locked
because its demo i think , demo never has full options
you have to build a Bailey then a Manor. After that, you can build the tax collector inside the bailey. I built mine next to my manor.

No save game, that's a terrible decision for a city sim game, even if that's a demo.
Fallow just means that you're not planting anything - i.e. 2nd year, the fields will be clear
The Estella reference just after 8 minutes in was *not* too old for me! I loved Great Expectations! 👍 {I just wished she'd realized she had the free will to choose *not* to become the icy-hearted, deliberate breaker of men's hearts that Miss Havisham wanted her to be. She and Pip could've been perfectly happy together at any time if she'd just allowed herself to be.}
