- Changing the guard on Thursday 8th June 2023 in Windsor. Featuring the Band of the Royal Air Force Regiment and Kings Colour Squadron Royal Air Force. This was only today as all the guards regiments bands are rehearsing for trooping the colour. They marched to the castle in the hot sun, with loads of tourists!
1st Battalion Coldstream Guards Corps of Drums was rehearsing ‘Mud Cabin’. Aswell as the Regiment was Street-lining for The Kings Birthday Parade.
The Guard change was escorted by Mounted Police.

2) 3:17-National Emblem
3) 5:25-Holyrood
(Return to Barracks)
4) 6:12-The Great Little Army
5) 7:13-Wellington
6) 9:47-Eagle Squadron

Superb, I have to agree, the RAF band and the RAF regiments sound and marching is every bit as good as the guards bands though I do love the irish guards band when playing Irish melodies.

Good video excellent . Good Sound from The RAF Band(better than some of The Guards Bands). Shame about the sound fade out at the end of the video.

WOW!! One tends to forget about the RAF Bands, being used to the Household Division's Bands escorting the Guardsmen to the Various Palaces. The Navy has the Marine Bands & as much as I love the Household Bands, I have to say the Marine Bands are in a class of their own. The individual Regimental Bands of the Household Divisions are all good, some might be a touch better than others or have a particular March they play best, but that is all subjective & you rank the Bands on your preference. I have to say this RAF Band is every bit as good as any of the Household Bands & particularly pleasing to me is their arrangement of favourite marches, where only specific Instruments play & say the Trombones & Cornets rest, the volume is still at the same level, the music doesn't fade out. There are subtle differences, but yes, IMO, the RAF ranks just as good musically & better than some with their Drill. Thanks for this great Video!
