Just had a very long international journey with our one year old and this stroller was great. Went into the overhead no issues. Wish I watched this beforehand so I could fold and unfold it like a boss.
My UK version of this doesn't have the piece of fabric that comes out of the foot/leg rest. I wonder if this was an additional safety feature added only to US versions.
Thanks for the great videos… These videos helped us a lot… I bought one and struggled to find the hidden fabric you’ve mentioned (for foot cover). Do you have a close up video that can show us where to find it? Thanks so much!
We don't have a video showing exactly where to find it, but if you're still having trouble locating it you should reach out to Silver Cross and they should be able to explain or show you exactly where it is!
It seems like the foot well fabric is meant for the US market only. Reading up the instruction manual from Silver Cross UK and Australia (mine from AU) did not show the foot well fabric deployment instructions, whereas it is inside the US instruction manual. Kinda of a bummer since all online video reviews are from the States, so that's not an accurate representation.
@@theflyingspud that fabric is a US safety standard requirement - rules differ from country to country. I can’t comment on how it actually affects the safety.
Same here! Relied on this video and like crazy, looked for that lining for the feet but cant find anywhere. So reached out to UK customer service and they said its not included. So yeah maybe just for US market.
Hey Eli! Awesome review! We need a travel stroller for an upcoming flight with our 8 week old and we’re torn between this and the Ergobaby Metro+ they seem fairly comparable but curious which you’d go with? Thanks!
@iamhim2255 I wonder which one you ended up with and if you're happy with it. We are about to make the same decision as we'll travel with our 12 months old baby, so I would appreciate your insights. Thanks!
HI Anthony! The butterfly has the tallest seat height at 22in! The Jet is around 17in but it does offer a flat recline. Both are great options, it comes down to which features you prefer 😊
Good suggestion! In the meantime you should book a consultation with one of experts who can answer all of your booster seat questions and help you pick out the best one for your child! You can book a consultation here: www.mbeans.com/consultations/22240c
Hi Shantel! The Silver Cross Jet3 uses maxi cosi adapters which can be paired with Bugaboo, Clek, Cybex, Nuna and Maxi Cosi car seats. www.mbeans.com/products/silver-cross-jet-stroller-infant-car-seat-adapter-2020-nuna-clek-cybex-maxi-cosi
Handle can be removed on this for overhead cabin on aeroplane. Does anyone know the folded dimensions of this stroller without thr handle on. Flying with jet2
Hi Cindy! The Jet 3 is comparable to the YOYO2, but it is more flexible. Neither stroller is perfect for city use, especially in cities with damaged sidewalks, cobblestone, or brick. That being said, their small size is ideal for families who live in walk up apartments.
We love the tailored look of the Butterfly, but the Jet 3's magnetic buckle and smaller fold is amazing too! I trial period before purchase would be amazing. They are both available to test drive at Magic Beans though!
@@sultanamakeupartist7063 curious as to which one you were happier with? Also how old is your LO? mine is 5 months but he's quite tall and already too tall for infant car seats. My Vista v2 is just too heavy and bulky to take around when its just me and baby so I'm looking to get something like this or the butterfly

The underneath fabric for my one is missing, is it should be in all version?
It’s only the US version
My UK version of this doesn't have the piece of fabric that comes out of the foot/leg rest. I wonder if this was an additional safety feature added only to US versions.
Yes, that’s a US safety standard thing for seats with a full recline for newborn.
Oh yeah my AU one doesn’t have that too :(
@@MagicBeansVideos so clever
How much weight can it hold in the basket below?
11 pounds

What's the length of the backrest and how is the recline when compared to the butterfly?
HI Anthony! The butterfly has the tallest seat height at 22in! The Jet is around 17in but it does offer a flat recline. Both are great options, it comes down to which features you prefer 😊
Is the basket big enough to store a backpack underneath? The basket for the older model jet is too small and has a metal bar running across
Hi! It probably wouldn't fit a backpack in the basket.
Are you going to be doing a review of booster seats? I’m looking to switch my 6 year old into a booster and need help deciding!

What infant car seats are compatible with this stroller? I couldn’t find any adapters on your website for this stroller.
Hi Shantel! The Silver Cross Jet3 uses maxi cosi adapters which can be paired with Bugaboo, Clek, Cybex, Nuna and Maxi Cosi car seats. www.mbeans.com/products/silver-cross-jet-stroller-infant-car-seat-adapter-2020-nuna-clek-cybex-maxi-cosi
Does the stroller come with car seat adapters or do you need to purchase those separately?
They are sold separately : www.mbeans.com/products/silver-cross-jet-stroller-infant-car-seat-adapter-2020-nuna-clek-cybex-maxi-cosi
if the handle sticks out, will it still be allowed to be stowed in overhead compartment of a plane?
Hi Maung! The Jet fits most overhead bins but we always recommend reaching out to the airlines.
the bumper bar ca nbe removed for overhead bin storage
Handle can be removed on this for overhead cabin on aeroplane. Does anyone know the folded dimensions of this stroller without thr handle on. Flying with jet2
How can I add mosquito net, wind cover, snacks tray with it?
Hi there! Silver Cross only has a bug net available for the Jet at this time. www.mbeans.com/products/silver-cross-jet-stroller-bug-net
Just wanted to confirm, this stroller is ready to go for newborn without having the car seat?
Yes it has a full recline for newborns 😍
@@MagicBeansVideos that’s great to hear. Does it come with infant insert?
Hi! Can it be a city stroller? How would you compare this to the yoyo??
Hi Cindy! The Jet 3 is comparable to the YOYO2, but it is more flexible. Neither stroller is perfect for city use, especially in cities with damaged sidewalks, cobblestone, or brick. That being said, their small size is ideal for families who live in walk up apartments.
@@MagicBeansVideos When you say more flexible, what do you mean? Is the basket of the Jet3 more easily accessed from the front? Thank you!
How can I buy from Bangladesh?
Hi there! Sadly we do not offer international shipping at this time. Thanks for watching 💚
The bugaboo butterfly looks better even though this one looks fancy. Wish i could try both of them out for a month before purchasing

Omg I’m in this same situation so I bought both to compare 😩
