Brand new during the Disney Enchanted Christmas season at Disneyland Paris, the characters from Disney's upcoming movie "Tangled" - Rapunzel and Flynn Rider - arrive at Disneyland Park in a beautiful nighttime inauguration with lanterns that will have your hair standing on end, set to the new Alan Menken song "I See The Light".
The show was (at the moment) a one-off production for the press on 6th November 2010, the night of the European premiere of the characters and film at Disneyland Paris.

Wow, they actually kissed!! The parks over here usually make the CM's hide the "kiss" by turning their heads to conceal it. ^.^ Cuuute! They're definitely lip-syncing, but the show altogether was very well done.

I don't know why, but I LOVE to watch this! the lanterns are so cute and I get all emotional and happy when I see them

Kinda glad they did... I liked The Princess And The Frog too, but Tangled just brought me back to being a two year old watching The Little Mermaid again and that isn't something anyone gets to experience every day- being taken back to being a kid again.

@Myaerdna They are paper lanterns and the hot air makes them float they do it in a lot of Asian countries.

Love this. Oh, yes they are lip syncing. They do that alot with songs so the people themselves don't have to waste their voice.

@Simonsevillerocks1 They did. Actually, two times. One when Rapunzel found out that Flynn was alive, then at the end, where Rapunzel and Flynn kissed at the kingdom.
@MrHeatherway Because we have to translate the script and the songs, and after that record it all.
It's very cool, but the end is kind of an anticlimax. It would've worked better if they'd put some firework or lights of more lanterns in the end that suddenly popped up.

@angeleyes021985 like the magic of imagination, which gives us hope to those who asked nothing more than a dream come true, especially us kids who got nothing else to look up to. & the happiness that brings in our hearts, not because of the enjoyment of rides, cotton candy, meeting our favourite characters, etc. but the happiness of believing in ourselves, & things would come out alright.
The story of Rapunzel was true story. She was a girl with a very rare disorder. I am her great-great-grandson. Well they opened a huge wig store using her own hair. They always told us, ppl were coming from far away for her wigs cause they were true blond and very shiny. Today we're still opened called RAPUNZEL'S Wigs and Extensions for all. Lots of african-americans,bald ppl and celebrities like our extensions and wigs cause we sell good real hair quality from India.Serious I'm not lying lol

To be honest if that really was Rapunzel, I don't think she would have stood there with her hand on her hip just Watching everyone dance! She'd have gone along with them and dragged Eugene along!

3:10 This was what I wanted for my new Rapunzel cosplay this year at Realms Con... Unfortunately, wigs THAT long are way too costly for us to afford. :'( I might come home crying from the con this year if anyone nit-picks at me about my hair being brown when it's cut... Or, I might start a fight, step up and tell them that Tangled wasn't the REAL Rapunzel anyway, despite my loving that movie so much... Why can't there be wigs THAT long for CHEAP? :(

I went to disneyland paris a month after this. exactly. I didn't see Flynn or Rapunzel. I'm upset now. I'm 16 years old :L

They are singing off the original soundtrack. Those voices belong to Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi. Good performance, though. I am quite excited to see where this takes Disney.

as much as i LOVE the wig its wrong..... when she got it braided it was short so she could and dance... and i wished Rapunzel and Flynn had dance the kingdom dance that would have been better... still a great show
